What was the last game that surpassed your expectations?

Hogwarts. I wasn't expecting much but damn. Only problem is using the Unforgivable Curses should have greater consequences.

Elden Ring. Expected 10/10. Got 11/10.

BUt on a more serious note ... Days Gone. genuinely surprised by how good it was.

Halo: Infinite. :D

But I'd sure like some SP campaign DLC to hit GamePass soon. :P

Shredder's Revenge. It has more depth than most of the beat 'em ups that I've played. It's more than mashing the attack button over and over again. I like playing as Raphael.

Very hard to say, when I buy games I usually know what to expect.
