What was the last game you played that is at least 10 years old?

Ace Combat 6. Still the best one.

I'm not convinced Ace Combat 7 is even better than Hawx 2. In fact, Hawx 2 is actually quite interesting. Graphics and speed aside, AC 7 feels like a PlayStation 2 game.

The morons at Project Aces don't understand that the only problem with AC6, is that it's an Xbox 360 exclusive. It's not where the base was.

Final Fantasy VII. Maybe even before that it was Rayman Forever.

I replayed Persona 3 just earlier this year. Oh bought Star Ocean Till the end of Time and Rouge Galaxy for platinum purposes but never got far. For Star Ocean its just impossible, the trophy requirements is even worst than whatever hardest ps4 trophy ever. In Rouge Galaxy case.... this game needs a remaster, its horrible on 4K tv. You need to play this game with CRT TV to mask some of its horrible jagged edges.

Anyway, Currently playing Zelda:windwaker, and just finished super Mario sunshine a couple weeks ago. I got a wii U cheap and have turned it into a pretty impressive retro machine.

@SolidGame_basic: Cool thread. I had to think about it a minute. I guess it would be Super Castlevania IV (SNES), which I beat for the first time a couple weeks ago. Awesome game! One of the best soundtracks ever imo.

You didn't miss much. I loved QFG back in the day and I would skip 5 if I played them again.

I usually play through the Twisted Metal series around Halloween, and last night it was Head On. Been playing 2012 mostly, but that's not 10 yet.

I did actually play it way back in the day. That's why I skipped it. Haha

I played Punch Out while in Super Potato in Akihabara last week.

Blood. Still an amazing game in 2019. I love all the horror movie references.

This made me think because I can't believe that it has been 10 years. It does not seem that long ago. I was in my first year of college. I still have the collector's edition of that game.

That was the best wrestling game. I remember playing with my family and friends of that game all of the time. I also remember from what I played years and years ago that you had to beat so many people to get to the world belt. I remember just going out of the ring and then jumping in last second to cause the other character to lose the match to get to the last fight.

Dead Rising, RE4 are some oldies i played in the last year. After playing them i can say... yep gaming was better then. Though i give RE2R big thumbs up.

Been playing Final Fantasy X as of late. Not as crazy about the game now as I once was before.

I'm older now and just really don't have time for the cutscenes that can't be skipped

WoW Classic, like a day ago. I suppose it did just come out, but seeing as how it is literally the same game it was in 2004, I think that warrants the "older than 10 years" designation.

Finished up red dead 1 which is coming up to 10 years old. Crazy to think of it being 10 years. Still an incredible experience I prefer it to 2.

WoW Classic. It's every bit as good as I remember (I started playing in very late BC) And it really fills a void that has been left by games becoming too casual.

Postal 2 and I need to get back to FFVI on SNES, I started a play-through at the end of summer and didn't finish it yet.

I recently replayed Assassin's Creed II (I guess not quite ten years old until next month but still...) and it's STILL my favourite AC game out of them all.

Not so surprising. They've just cloned that game 15 times over since it came, and put a new skin on it every time.

Replayed Majora's Mask recently, it doesn't thrill me as much as some Zelda fans (some really silly/frustrating/arbitrary parts to it) but definitely a great change of pace for the series.

For first time playthrough, I'm currently on Far Cry 1. Started out great but I'm finding it a bit of a slog fighting the supermutants (or whatever). Same as Crysis really, which I also adored in the beginning but found the ending a bit of a slog.
