I always look for deals, I got Witcher 3 for £35 on Xbone which is the most expensive I've paid for a game in a long time; but still not full price (£45). I think D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die which wasn't retail was the last game in a long time I can remember not getting cheaper.

I think I sadly bought GTA5 at full price. I buy many 3DS games at full price.

Project Cars is my single most expensive game ever having now purchased the game itself, a thrustmaster t300 wheel and a WSP.

All of the above massively improves the experience for me so i really dont mind, i only wish i had the space for a full racing seat setup....

Halo: MCC last year.

I've lost so much interest in video games as a hobby that I can rarely justify spending full price on a game.

Okay I gotta ask how you like it.

...it isn't that difficult to make your own setup--proper placement and angles are what matter.

The Witcher 3. I dropped $150 on the collector's edition. Next up will be Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Maybe Halo 4, though I got that at a discount at launch. I'm considering getting Yakuza 5 at launch, other than that there's nothing I find worth paying full price for.

I think Halo 4 and coincidently, Halo 5 will be the next.

Edit, actually FM6 may be the next one. :P

The wheel makes all the difference for me, i could manage with the ds4 but the game has completely opened up for me now, with the FFB i can 'feel' when the car is losing traction and compensate now, almost completely impossible with the pad.

The feel going through corners is sublime, im fighting the wheel for every last patch of track and grip its fantastic and sweeping bends are sooooo satisfying rather than 'stab stab stab stab...' with the pad.

As for a racng setup i simply dont have the space at home, my wife wasnt impressed with my wheel setup so there's no way i could sneak a full race seat setup in without losing parts of my anatomy and although we both say 2 kids is enough i am still fond of my....err...equipment.

I feel the same way with space constraints--it isn't so much a limit as it is myself not actually wanting to have a racing setup sitting out in the open.

Not verbatim but I'm thinking something collapsible similar to this which isn't intrusive on the surrounding.

The last game I spent full price on was Witcher 3 The Wild Hunt, and is very worth it. The next game I shall spend that amount of money on is Batman Arkham Knight.

Looks like a usable setup how solid is it though? My WSP doesnt move at all even when the wheel is goin nuts but then it wasnt the cheapest out there.

@l34052:

That isn't mine. But I'm like you in the sense of once you play racing games with a proper wheel, going back to a controller is sort of boring. Just looking at the design. I'd imagine it would be not that hard to make a sturdy design either out of wood or pvc or something similar.

Even buying something simple like this and making slight modifications, maybe.

Maybe not exactly, but weighting the feet on a design like this would work I think, no? Not the perfect setup but like you said if space is an issue.

I spose it could work yeh, have to admit i'd never really thought of anything like that though lol.

There looks to be plenty of space to fit the gear shifter should you ever want to.....

I bought the Masterchief Collection in November and Omega Ruby in January.

Gifted to me since then were Final Fantasy Type 0, Majora 3D, and Dark Souls 2 SOTFS

I really don't like to spend a lot of money on games :P

Witcher 3... only because I bought it off Xbox Live (which I don't do very often).

The next game will probably be Arkham Knight, because I'm getting the special edition and you can't price-match those :(

Hmmm..... this took me some time to think, but it was actually TLoU on PS3 in June 2013.

That was the last PS3 game I bought, well I bought some digital PS3 games but those were because they were heavily discounted.

I didnt get my PS4 till Black Friday 2014 and TLoUR and GTA5 came bundled in, Shadow of Mordor was on sale for $35 and I got Ground Zeros for $20.

I havent bought any games since black friday 2014.

MGS5 will be the fist game I buy since then and at full price.

Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker on impulse from Walmart. Actually... someone else "bought" that for me as a gift, but I did buy it myself and they paid me for the price later.

Otherwise if that doesn't count Smash Bros 3ds I think? I have gcu from Best Buy so I essentially never pay full price for new games any more. Already paid that membership off a few times so far. Great deal if you get it during membership sales.

Battlefield 3, I think. Was really excited for that one actually, because Bad Company multiplayer was legit. Was able to play Last of Us around launch too but that's because my roommate bought the game. I'm so behind that it makes no sense to buy any new game at full price, no matter how bad I want it I know I still haven't played the big releases from like three years ago, and they'll be half the price. I'm literally just now getting around to playing Fallout New Vegas, and after that I'm probably gonna go through Dishonored and BioShock Infinite.

At this pace I'll probably end up playing Bloodborne around the time it gets its re-release/remaster/re-whatever for PS5.

If greatest hits counts than burnout paradise. If not than shenmue 2. I don't pay full price unless it's a greatest hits.

Apparently, the next game I would spend full price on would turn out to be Splatoon.

I have no sense of self control or restraint.

Witcher 3 Collector's Edition. I paid the full 150 for it plus tax from Amazon. Only bought it there because it was only available there at the time. I generally buy my games from Bestbuy now for the GCU discounts. Next game I'll pay full price for is Rodea the Sky Soldier Limited Edition. It's exclusive to the NISA store hence the full retail price.

I've held off on buying W3, you not liking it?

Also, besides FM6 & Halo 5, I thought about saying the same thing, Mad Max looks so awesome in the game-play vids and with open world vehicular combat whelp, that's like my favorite stuff in gaming so my fingers crossed that the actual game lives up to my current expectations. :D

Nah I'm not really into RPG games so I should have known better and the world is way too big for me I just haven't got the time to invest hours upon hours of playing one game but oh well everyone makes mistakes.
