[QUOTE="-RPGamer-"] When I was that young I had an Atari 2600 to play, however, I don't look back on it with fond memroies at all (there isn't a game I would ever care to replay even for nostalgic purposes).
The NES was what I would really call my first system, one that I gave a damn about, and one that I still consider a great time in my life growing up.

The Atari 2600 had many good games: Dig Dug, Pole Position, Moon Patrol, Jungle Hunt, Mrs. Pac-Man, Sequest, Space Invaders, Asteroids, Kangaroo etc.Hell, looking at it now, I don't think I liked that many NES games.
I played them and even tried to replay many of those to see if I could "rekindle" anything. Alas I can't. When I play them I have no feeling of fond memories, nor do I think they're much fun (much like I did when I was a lot younger).
I can and do still sometimes play and whole heartedly enjoy many NES games on the other hand. Not one of those games you listed holds a candle to memories I've had with LoZ, Metroid, SMB, SMB3, Star Tropics, FF, DQ, Castlevania etc. These games among many others are what I look back on and realize why I'm still in this hobby... not the Atari 2600 and it's mediocrity of a library in my humble opinion.
