16 bit probably.. Golden age of gaming
32/64 bit era is super close though. Man those were the days..
I believe that the last generation was the worst i've seen.. The gamecube was a mistake, the xbox was a disaster.. the Playstation 2 seemed to be the only one to pull through.. a bit, but I was still unhappy with it aswell.
I voted on this generation, because it seems they actually might be up to date, with some of the latest techs like bluetooth, bluray, wireless lan, decent online integration, etc. just for examples.
Last Gen, even though the tech was all there, they still had things like wired controllers and little to no online support ..just for starters. Not to mention the breakdown rate of those systems were staggering.. My closet is full of just junk pieces of both the xbox and ps3 systems from just trying to get one to work.. I'm not the only one with broken last gen systems laying around the house, I'm sure
I was a close one between 16bit and this gen, but I chose this gen simply because i have clocked more time playing this gen systems so far, other than that, it would've been a tie.
Cheers,
This one. I've played many games from previous generations during this generation (for the first time) and couldn't dare to find a period in my life where I've played more enjoyable games.
