What was your FIRST Console and Game?

What is the FIRST console you ever played and owned? Why was it your first and what games really stood out?

For me it was the Super Nintendo. I know i know I suck and am not worthy to speak among my older gaming peers...but I'm only 20. So kudos to you old dogs and arcade fiends! Anyways MK II was my poison of choice on SNES. I LOVED the fatalities and thoughts the graphics were JAW DROPPING lol! I wasn't exactly up to speed when I first played it back in 95 but needless to say PS-X and N64 made me almost die....Shadows of the Empire and Tomb Raider!! AHHHH Grafix OVERLOAD!!

First played: Duck Hunt on the NES

First system and game was Colecovision and The Smurfs.

 Soon thereafter came the NES and Mario/Duck Hunt/ Track and Field....i love track and field because on the long jump I would just jump off and get max score....ahhh memories

NES is also my favorite console, but then again, I did owned a Atari 2600 with Centipede.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't my first console but Centipede is one of the few first games I played.

Magnavox Odyssey 2. Though I did start playing that somewhere between the NES/SNES days. That's right, I was playing a pretty old home console even though there were other, better consoles out. This is why I don't complain about the Wii's graphics. I was so far behind that just having a current console is great.

EDIT: Forgot to mention the game. It was probably Bowling or something.

FURTHER CORRECTION: It was the Magnavox Odyssey 2. Still before the NES though.
