GoldenEye on N64. Although my favorite FPS of ALL TIME has to be 007 Nightfire on Gamecube. I haven't played a better shooter(for its time) since. I have probably played over 100 Hours of split screen on that game. It never gets old.
i think doom i played the shareware in 93-94 on a 90mhz pentium cpu and 8mb of ram
i envy you i played the 1st doom on an 33mhz 386 :) the 90mhz was a top of the line back in 94 ehhhm i know that. Where did I say or imply that a 386 was the better of the 2? I simply said I envy you because you where able to play Doom on the High setting nothing more and nothing less :)

Wolfenstein3d. DarkForces deserves mention as the first FPS I actually enjoyed.

I think Dark Forces has to be one of the most underrated shooters of the early/mid 90's. Dark Forces II: JK gets much more in comparison, but still not nearly enough as well.
