what game made you sit up and take notice of the rising video game industry, and introduced you to gaming?
my first game was super mario bros 2, i thought it was good, but when i bought an old copy of the original it was amazing. Original SMB is still my favorite game, followed closely by SMB 3
My first game was Super Mario Bros. 3 and beat it when I was 4. Good times and I'm trying to beat it now again but I can't do it :cry: . But I think the first games to actually get me started in gaming as a major hobby were Tomb Raider (PSone) and Goldeneye (N64). I had missed the SNES gen (played many of the games by now tho) and so the jump to 3D and stuff was pretty cool.Â
Then I started playing more games with friends and such...to the point where I am now. Owning and being happy with many games and knowing a lot of info on games. I swear its like I have ADD because if I don't care all that much in something my mind wanders and I concentrate on something else, which is why I love games cause I can focus so much on them without losing interest.Â
I've been hooked since the first time I played Pac-Man, Enduro, Jungle Hunt, Pitfall, Seaquest etc... on my 2600 when I was a kid. I lost a lot of daylight playing that thing...
First game was Duck Hunt. First owned was Sonic the Hedgehog. The game that made me notice the rise of VGs was either Street Fighter 2, Heretic or Gunstar Heroes.
