What was your happiest moment in gaming?

Mine was when I finally defeated Ultimecia in FF 8, I played that game years ago but I stopped playing it for awhile then defeated her just a few months ago.

It felt good because she had caused me so much frustration and I finally triumphed.

What was your shining moment?

In Super Mario 64 bringing back the baby penguin to its Mom, then throwing it off the cliff as she watches.

I must have done that 100 times.

When I defeated Bison in SF2 my first time when I was kid.

I was only nine, but I screamed out, "HOW DOES IT TASTE NOW M&^%&F*&*R!?!?".

Or when I got really good at Doom, and was literally running around wanting monster to pop out of nowhere. Jesus I kept screaming, "This is my PLANET!"

Yeah, Kingdom hearts 1 and 2 had great endings.

I have many.

One of them, is winning a local tourney of X-Men vs. Street Fighter, when it was hot in the Arcades.

:lol: I did the same exact **** when I was 7. I knew I wasn't the only one. :lol:

For me though, it was a number of things.

I have far too many and I'll share one in particular. One evening, I was at my best friend's house and he had gotten to the Mewtwo battle in Pokemon Stadium. And since we were both still so young, that was like the coolest crap ever (I was 7 and he was 9). Anyways, after an epic battle, Mewtwo goes into his death animation, and when he sticks his hand out taking his left, glorius breath, the doorbell rings and he rewarded us with delicious Round Table pizza.

We still talk about that moment to this day.

me and my friends were playing team slayer on highground on halo 3. the other team had two generals and we were tied at 49-49. i got the winning kill with needlers and got mvp. its on my file share. it was SUSPENSFUL!!!Paper_Knife

Hahaha my happiest moment in gaming actually happened last night in Halo 3.

Big Team Battle on Sandtrap...Turned out it was 5 on 5, but that is not the point. I had the Spartan Laser, and one of my buddies (fruity pebbles 04) had the Gravity Hammer. A Warthog came down on him, and he hit it with his Hammer, and it did exactly one backflip, but what they didn't know was that I was charging the laser throughout the entire time...As soon as it finished it's first backflip, it hit a laser.

Man did we laugh.

halo 1 system link match. 8vs 8 on blood gulch. The game type was assault. it was a tie game and the opposing team was preparing an assault with all 8 of them at one. They had both of our warthogs. when they finally assaulted, my team was taken out one by one. Me and 3 of my teamates were the last ones alive. We grenaded one warthog, killed its occupants, and then saw the last 5 opponents coming straight over the hill. I fired ONE SINGLE ROCKET, which flipped the warthog, killed everyone in the warthog, including the two opponents by the warthog, and sent the warthog flying towards me. My two idiodic teammates that were still alive were standing right next to me. The warthog splattered all three of us! gasps and laughter could be heard throughout the house...untill my team heard it....it turns out the worst member of the opposing team was the only one left alive on the map (he survived the blast with one red thing of health left)...his temmates screamed "YOUR ALIVE YOUR ALIVE"....he picked up the flag and attempted to scramble into our base with it. My teammates who were picked off earlier just started to respawn and stop him. The beat him down JUST as he placed the flag in the score zone, and we lost. That was, and will forever be, why halo1 is still my favorite game. That was a truly epic moment that has forever defined gaming for me!!HungryLikeAMug
