Probably my happiest moment was when I bought Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater on November 17, 2004 and I played it for 3 days and beat it on the third day. I don't think I have ever been more excited about a game so far. I loved every second of it, and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. It took me about 19 hours and 20 minutes to finish, if I remember correctly, and by the time the credits rolled (and the phone call played), I was floored. That is probably my personal experience of sheer concentrated gaming joy.
I think playing Mario 64 for the first time and finally getting 120 stars, or beating OoT with all heart pieces. Now I played games since the NES, but these 2 games will forever be the best to me.
Back when I played the 'Soldier of Fortune II: DoubleHelix Multiplayer Test Demo' I was an agent and I managed to lob a grenade of out the elevator and hit the terrorist with the briefcase, as he was jumping into the helicopter (total fluke though).
