What will be the best FPS this year?

Crap, I can't make a poll...

Anyway, here are some FPSs coming out this year: Project Origin, Resistance 2, Haze, Killzone 2, Red Steel 2, Far Cry 2, and a few others I can't think of.

Personally, I think Red Steel 2 will be the best FPS this year. BELIEVE! Okay, no, it won't. However, if it is what I wanted Red Steel 1 to be, then it'll be awesome. If they manage to make the sword fights actually fun and get the control scheme down, then I think it has some serious potentional.

But I'll go with Resistance 2. With Far Cry 2, Killzone 2, Project Origin, Haze, and Red Steel 2 followed behind, in that order.

Im gonna go with STALKER: Clear skies....

but its kind of striking how their are no "huge" FPS's this year, after the amount we got lsat year.

Isn't Clear Skies an expansion pack? I got Stalker and if I get a new PC next month I can finally play it.

Full game...the size of the world is now twice as big, with all the old areas (remodled since the game takes place before certain "events") and with new areas the same sizes of the old ones...including a forest, and a swamp.

I doubt it...but they do have fast travel now....

BTW, there are mods for STALKER that do add vehicals.

I didn't know STALKER was so big. It only got an 8.5 at GameSpot and I heard a lot more praise to Call of Duty 4. Call of Duty 5 is supposed to suck, though.

Hmmm... The first one wasn't talked about much. I'd give the game a try, but my PC can't run it. I'm going to check what I have to upgrade.

I'm not 100% sure whats happening with it, but operation flashpoint 2 could be my favourite if it comes out.

Loved the first one, even though I had the crappy xbox port.

Get Goty edition for PC the game is old so u can run it on nearly anything.

I have considered getting the PC version.

Even on the xbox, up until recently the game had a real cult following and generally by those that are actually in the armed forces.

No games feature the level of realism that operation flashpoint has. What I loved about the game is that alot of the missions you were given an objective, and the rest was totally up to you.

You'd have to really recon your objectives and use your head a bit.

The biggest let downs were the fidly controls (probably better on pc) and the sheer age of the game. It was rough around the edges, but I think what they were trying to accomplish was a very ambitious idea, and they actually pulled it off well.

Flashpoint 2 is already out but its called ArmA: Combat Operations it scored a 7 and was made by Bomemia.

Codemasters have the rights to the flashpoint name and they are making the official flashpoint 2 but none of the original devs and designers are involved.

Not only will Duke Nukem Forever be the best FPS this year it will be the best FPS to ever release. I will also go as far as to say that it will be one of the best most complete and interactive games ever created. BTW this is a completely serious post. There is no sarcasm.
