Nope, MGS4 was the best game of last gen, which is quite amazing considering TLOU was in the same gen.

MGS 4 is no where near perfect. It has a horrible AI, NPCs keep respawning even after you kill them 100X (I am not exaggerating BTW), animations/movement are stiff and clunky, it has ridiculously long cutscenes, the pacing is awful and ETC?

MGS 4 is a standard stealth game and a horrible shooter. Nothing spectacular.

the AI is amazing, respawning doesn't seem negative to me, the animations/movement are some of the best in gaming (motion capture technology ftw) long cut-scenes of Godfather-like epicness is always a plus, pacing was done perfectly and etc.

This is actually a good call, if it lives up to Arkham City and goes even further (which is what I'd expect from Rocksteady) then it could definitely have a chance.

Otherwise I'd say The Witcher 3, Phantom Pain or whatever Naughty Dog is making that isn't UC4 (unless that ends up being Uncharted 2 quality in which case it may have a chance) are the likeliest. Saying all that though it'll probably be some 2 hour long indie game about racism that gets it.

Right, its not like MGS4 was the only game in history to receive a pefect 10 from the biggest 4 reviewers in the gaming industry... Oh wait = /
