What will be the PS3's first AAAE here on Gamespot?

Oh come on, that's not gonna happen. Killzone 2 was delayed so that Resistance 2 could be the big holiday title for the PS3. Sony would never delay these 2 games to 2009, they've both been in development for almost 2 years now.

It's not a giant conspiracy.... Apart from Uncharted nothing is really worth a 9 or higher. I do think they were Uncharted deserved a 9, but that's one game.

Anyway I think MGS4 will score a 9.5. Maybe a 10? Lol then PS3 still wouldn't have a AAAe :P

Here we go. Another person distorting what Gamespot actually said.

First of all, with R&C, they didn't say the enemies were too easy per se, they said the game in general was too easy. And yes, the game was too damn easy.

With Uncharted, they didn't knock it for the enemies being too hard. They knocked it for the gunplay being too difficult in relation to the easy platforming (creating an unbalance), which is a legitamite complaint.

Some cows call Gamespot "teh bias" but when you actually talk to these folks, they don't even understand what the reviewer was saying.

I personally thought Resistance didn't deserve an 8.6. It should have gotten an 8.0 at most.

Uncharted was a better game by leaps and bounds IMO. It should have been awarded the 8.6.

Well, I don't think any of the MGS games were GOTY worthy, but I did think MGS3 was AAA and was underrated by GS. That being said, I can understand their reasons for not giving it AAA. It wasn't an unfair review and if I recall, it did get 8.9, which is close.

MGS4 will do something exciting, I'm confident of that (although I don't think it'll live up to the hype) and Resistance doesn't really do anything exciting or even particularly noteworthy.

I really don't see it beating MGS4. MGS4 will most likely score better than MGS3. Resistance 2, without huge gameplay additions, will probably score roughly the same as the first.

out of all of those...MGS4 seems to be the only one that has a sure fire chance at AAA.

LBP is interesting...but that'll only get you so far.

I would say MGS4 but I think when it gets AAAAE the Lemmings will still use "NO AAAEz FOR TEH P-EZ3!!!"Couth_
