I think think the gaming universe will not take as big of a leap as doom to crysis/killzone2 (if obama does not completely screw up the world and cause nuclear chaos with his terrorist buddies). I think there might be some 3d elements with ur tv and stuff, but i think consoles like microsoft and sony's will still be there. I mean seriously, what kind of person is going to be able to afford a frekin interactive system where u can run along shoot sum ppl, feel the impact of the bullets, and all that crap? That would cost thousands of dollars, and only frekin rich gaming nerds would be able to buy that kind of stuff and it wouldn't sell, unless the whole thing was plastic or sumthin. I think games will be similar in the graphics department, but better geometry/interactivness and not any crazy graphic leaps. Also, i think MMO's will realy improve and get crysis graphics with actual rpg elements, like a fallout 3 MMO, with quests that u can actualy complete in several different ways, where the only goal isn't just to get the highest lvl and raid/pvp till ur eyes fall out.
