What will Sony have to do to get you to buy a PS3?

Sony pretty much gave Europe,Aus and NA gamers the middle finger when it comes to "try to grab our attention" while they hold JP gamers to luxury (not really).They bundle prolly the worst movie ever for NA,Aus and Europe while in Japan they get a DMC4 bundle WTH?.

Lets see..what would you pick in a bundle a movie that sucks without a HD tv or a video game?

More games. So far, the only ones that have caught my eye are:

Ninja Gaiden: Sigma / Final Fantasy XIII / Uncharted: Drake's Fortune / LittleBigPlanet

I've got my FPS fix on my PC, if you're wondering why I don't have KZ2 or Resistance 2 on there.

Better DLC, Faster ONLINE,

but i might save up and get a 46 Sony Bravia 1080p Lcd with ps3 for $2000. that got me sold lol.

$300 price tag, more 3rd party exlusives and more downloadable content (original content and PSOne).

Lower the price (outside North America) and make more games that people want to play.

Sorry but to the average joe the Xbox 360 is powerful enough and has plenty of games to keep everyone happy.

I want one, but wont they please release a new version in the UK with B/C, we just got the 40gig.

Reliability and great graphics.

Oh wait, they already have that.

They should replace my 360 free of charge. The just-wait genre should be gone and replaced by exclusives I'm actually interested in. The 360 controller should be compatible with the PS3. That's about it :P

Edit: Oh yeah and blu ray movies should be equally priced to dvd(9)'s.

Several things.

I want Sony to stop giving the rest of the world the middle finger. I am sick of the way the treat territories out of Japan and North America. It will cost me a mighty $520 USD to get a new 40 gig PS3 in New Zealand. $520? Are you f***ing kidding me? $120 more than North America? Are you telling me to shovel out an extra $120 because you shipped it here? Its region-f***ing free for f***s sake!

I want a better deal on what I'm getting as well. No DS3 controller? Um, how about no? No backwards capability unless I want to go hunt down a second hand 60 gig SKU on online auctions where they sell for around $900 NZD, often with no warranty? A crap blu-ray complimentary movie? Give me a break.

And, while its purely my own opinion, there isn't a game worth spit out on the PS3 yet. Contact me when I don't have to spend $120 NZD to get a copy of Uncharted that will last for a grand total of 8 hours.

I'd rather get a Wii.

1 - throw in the rumble controller and make the batteries changeable

2 - needs games badly, the 360 has the best multiplats and exclusives. None of Sony's exclusives make think the PS3 is worth any amount of money

3 - add a option for a regular headset that would plug into the controller

4- Make PSN more like XBL and forget about that Home crap

Meaning you can play most ps1/2 games on it, whether its through emulation or the EE it is still BC with around 85% of ps1/2 games

The same thing MS will have to do to get me to buy a 360...lower the price some more.

Typically I buy consoles at launch. I bought a Wii as close to launch as I possibly could (due to shortages and a bit of luck). However, I have too much debt and bills now to afford a $499 (cad) launch 360 or a $699 launch PS3. Granted, due to price drops and a high canadian dollar, they are both at $399 right now, but that is still a touch more than I can afford.

It would need:
Blu-ray
Full bluetooth support
multiple usb 2.0 ports
constantly updating firmware to keep the experience fun
a solid stable online system that doesn't die during holidays
Folklore
amazing psn content, like wild arms and pain
a rechargable controller that you don't need batteries for
ability to use a keyboard/mouse for web browsing, etc
hard drive big enough to hold everything you want on there
ability to stream media content from your computer onto the machine
great games
a reasonable price tag considering what it offers
good customer service...that you never need to call
