What will WiiU have that will lure in customers that the 360 doesnt have?

What will be a deciding factor? 1080P graphics? Is that really gonna get the customer to buy it, at 350 people are not just gonna go crazy for the WIIU unless it has something unique about, and or something powerful about it. Something that differs itself from the competition which in my opinion is the 360, which is why ultimately I cant take the WIIU seriously, because 720 is gonna demolish it in terms of power, and Kinect 2 will be heavily sought after, casuals and hardcores will eat up the 720. Anyway will Mario in 1080P be the selling point, I smell failure and im calling it, what about you guys that believe in it, can you change my mind? Gimme a try.

Also, you're talking about a non-existent device that you're imagining will be a certain way (720) and a device with very little details (Wii U) yet you're acting like you have conclusive evidence to support X side of a debate and wanting others to come up with information to support Y side of a debate when there really isn't much information about either device.

wii U was announced last E3 and it was lauded as best in the show, a year later and we finally get specs, the rumors arent good about specs and i think i have a pretty good eye for this kinda stuff. I wonder tho how will the WiiU sell, i dont like the 0release date at all, and yes i dont see it being sucessful but i could be wrong, xbox is winning and i think next gen they are in the strongest position, but unlike SONY who screwed up royally this gen, they will build strong. Of course its my prediction, but Im not wrong, and I have predicted things you would of probably laughed off!!!

well thats the answer and I respect it, I think they really would have to come out with some real awesome games, but i think Wiiu focus is actually on keeping that faction, but gaining the COD crowd, the GTA's of the industry, but the problem with that is, Microsoft and Sony are gonna sell alot more of those games compared to Nintendo, and thats this gen, COD6 on xbox 720, or orbis, or WiiU, where is that hardcore fan gonna look too? Bt that time those will be true next gen machines IMO, unless WiiU comes out of the house with impressive power I cant see it doing well. IT will be gamecubish

it was doing pretty well not so long ago, but the Kinect came out and the casuals flocked to the 360

the gen is winding down and 360 price point is very high, i think its still going to be very strong and Kinect will hold strong, just like it did last year

well i think the wiiu is like a 3ds combined in with wii from the sound of your points, that has a chance to sell and the kids must have. I dont know i just feel the WiiU is in between, its going to have to take on four competitors, the 360, and the PS3, and trust me it will be close, but then the 720 and oribis, Kinect 2 and whatever Sony plan is too lure in the casuals

Seriously though, I think the WiiU will be much better for the core gamer than the Wii. My biggest issue is the lack of focus on core gamers (at times) with the Wii, and the lack of HD. If they can deliver a lot of core gamer games and in HD, I will be happy. I LOVE good graphics, but HD is what my biggest problem with the Wii is.

it better be alot more powerful than the 360, if its on par wit the 360 and ps3, that isnt good, and if its just a little better, maybe can run games in 1080P, i dont think thats enough, it has to really make headway graphically for me to be interested in it.

Difference is, the Wii U is a next gen console. The 360 is a console from this gen.

Seriously. Unique. Did you think when you left that in your post?

You don't even have to turn the TV on to play the WiiU. Kids can play Super Mario or Zelda, or whatever the hell gets released on it, while parents watch TV. That alone will sell some parents on the console, you can guarantee that.

The 360 is a current gen system, the WiiU is a next-gen system. What convinced you it'll only have better resolution? Those nameless rumor articles? I'm not saying the 720 is going to suck. It sure as hell won't. But this thread wreaks of lemming.

If they are, the supposed $350 price tag on the WiiU is going to be chump change.
