I am ordering it from Xbox Live store so I will get PC free. I will be trying to play both to see if any difference. But 1st play threw will be PC.

Well, I can't see your point. As Alan Wake is probably one of the most interesting games I've ever played. It has aspects from video games, movies, novels, TV shows...

But I don't have much to go on here. As you are not really giving arguments why these games are generic or boring.

I just see a lot of hate for Remedy games these days. And it just seems people want to hate just to hate.

Xbox One.. The free copy on PC is nice but I don't have a rig that can run it..

Down the line if I ever get a PC with the right specs, it'll be nice to potentially have a collection of games I already received thru cross-buy waiting on me tho..

I have no intention of getting an xbox one so if I ever play it it will be on the PC.

It's not hate though man, it just doesn't interest me and Alan Wake bored me.

I already pre-order QB on Xbox One digital last month so I'll be playing it on Xbox One first, then follow by PC version at a later date since I'll be getting it for free thanks to Windows 10. Xbox One it is.

On nothing. QB looks like trash and dumb to play.

I bought it on xbox store so I get the PC version free. I have dual 970s so should be able to max it(well see since ultra may need >4gb). But Im fine playing it on either. I love the fact that is crossplay or save this way if my wife is on TV i play on PC, the other way around Im on xb1.

I really hope the next Forza game works this way! Id play a lot more forza if I could free up the Tv!

I really wanted to get a Surface Pro 4 to play games on it like Age of Empires II HD or Rise of Nations. I heard those play great on the touchscreen with a pen.

But a SP4 is so expensive, and basic stuff like the pen or keyboard is sold separately... that i'd just rather spend the money on a desktop.

Yeah but DX12 is supposed to stack memory. So you'd have access to 7GBs of Video RAM (2 x 3.5GB)

I've been playing civ 5 and pillars of eternity on my SP4 and needless to say it's great! Just dont expect to run anything new on the native resolution

@R4gn4r0k: I just don't think this game is worth a purchase to be honest so I will most likely just look at it for a few minutes on youtube then be done with it. sadly not many games are worth paying the full price nowadays.....

played it 1680x1050 as higher the performance gets quite bad, looks quite good still

the native is 3:2 2736x1824 and that's out of reach for games obviously even on the i7 with Iris 540gpu

Yeah it has an amazing screen, which is part of the reason I want one.

But Pillars of Eternity has this 2D style. I'd love to buy the game but I have this feeling it won't scale on my 2560x1080 monitor... :/

and it's a m/kb game, so no use trying to play it behind my TV either.

That is only if devs add the feature in themselves.

Just because it is a DX12 game doesn't mean it will stack vRAM in SLI.
