I'll rent it for a fiver, play through and thouroughly enjoy the campaign in a night and return it a couple of days later as i have done with the previous 2.
I'm a hardcore player and guess what? I love cod. It's just the fact the it's the most popular shooter and that's why there's a lot of haters. Remember the Halo days? Exactly. Cmon folks, all cod are really great games. Yes, I do hate the yearly and rehash kind of trend, but it does it for a reason. Cuz it's that good. Just buy cod every 2 years. Just buy only mw versions then. Jeez. Don't call it aim assist, because every shooter has it.

never said it was going to sale as much, but ND is trying to divide the ps3 crowd around the MW3 release, critical yes but sales i know they wont win but will get a mini boost
I won't be caring, last Call of Duty I played was the original Modern Warfare. I have Modern Warfare 2 sitting on my self but I have yet to pop it in, as for Black Ops I haven't even thought about buying/renting it.

I've just never understood the COD hate. Personally, I've always enjoyed each installment. Sure, maybe its not the most profound gaming experience, but I've always found it pretty entertaining.

A game running on an old ass crappy engine limiting you great large scale battles,making it obvious that developers never even bother for a single engine update. They know its pointless because you kids are too dumb too find a difference. I know you've never played any of BF and just propageted all that delusial crap from your 4th grade classmates arse.So boring small town battles with guns shooting like pea's restricting you from using vehicle tactics on large scale maps but just arming you with killstreaks and perks so even my 7 year old sister could feel comfortable playing against other casuals and you call it greatest FPS of all time? Siriously kid you need some help. Are personal insults really necessary? People are allowed to like things that differ from your preferences.

Animations make me want to cry they are that dated..pro tip death anims aint been in wide usage since the days when Medal Of Honor was out back on PS2.

Me too and renting MW3 on some weekend to beat the SP campaign in < 6 hours. me three, except without the MW3 part. The only CoD I've ever bought and ever will buy is MW1. I just like to see system wars arguments and the fanboy reactions when I say that. Not EVERY gamer buys (or rents in this case) CoD, but a vast majority do.
