I could never leave forever. I have too many stupid pictures to post.

[QUOTE="Tsug_Ze_Wind"]Dude, Irony called, it wants you to visit more.Anyway, I've made two leave-forever bets in SW Bets, and I intend to keep them if I lose. As for anything else, I'm not sure. Maybe if the forums changed for the worse I would leave.

Oh yeah I made a huge leave forever bet last year lol :P... I was really a different poster then though. I won and many people who took the reverse bet didn't leave. Cowards I tell ya.
In retrospect, that bet wasn't completely fair....ignoring the seemingly impossible odds at the time, it was still many, many, MANY accountsvs. one.
That's entirely the fault of the people that bet, though.
[QUOTE="DA_B0MB"][QUOTE="-Shrubs-"]If gamespot ever assumes the mentality of the majority of the posters on it's site, then I'll leave. If the new game you were looking forward to doesn't score as high as you had wished, don't get pissed at gamespot, get pissed at the developers who let you down...

What about the scenarios where Gamespot scores an entire point below average critic reviews? *cough cough MP3 cough*
I guarantee you, give it a couple of weeks and you're going to get tons of threads all over IGN talking about MP3 being "overrated". I can't say what it actually deserves. I don't own a Wii, and don't plan on getting one anytime soon. But I do know that a score like 9.5 shouldn't be given lightly. Only games short of masterpieces deserve it. And come on, MP3 is probably a great game, but a masterpiece? I highly doubt it. 8.5 is a great score, especially with the new rating system.
Good point. I'll let MP3 sink in me for a few weeks and see if I still think it's 9.5 worthy. Right now I'm pretty early in the game and I'm thinking 9.0.
[QUOTE="apolloluke"]I will leave next year when I get a job, get over gamesand grow up.DA_B0MB
Oh games are just for kids? Ok.

In like 17 pages I think there was like maybe 2 oe 3 people that were with me lol. It's so funny reading that thread now. For old time's sake here it is.

The thing that will make me leave is the lack of respect from user to user. I used to really enjoy discussing the strengths and weakness of each console or game with like minded individuals however GS forums are overrun nowadays with what are basically `fanboys` who shoot you down for having a mind of your own

Jokul
Too true :(... I've been here for almost 3 years now and the fanboyism has gotten worse.

It's actually only a difference of 0.5 now, and the game only has 8 reviews to it's name so it could still very easily fall into the AA range on Gamerankings.
*edit: And hey, would you look at that. Gamespot didn't even give the game it's lowest score, Yahoo games gave it an 80%.

Man, were we really that bad?
Thanks for the memories. It goes to show how much we've grown since such days. :)
If the moderators on System wars go overboard.teh_ownerer
They did that months ago. Compared to what it used to be, System Wars might as well be re-named "Gentlemanly discussion about video game systems."
