What would you consider a strong launch lineup for the NX?

Diddy Kong Racing 2 proper sequel with good online network. I'd buy it Day One... But instead we'll see the obligatory Mario/Zelda/Donkey Kong platformers. Yawn.

Zombi NX should be enough.

Nintendo needs both a strong first party launch with a strong furture line up. Plus a solid list of Thrid party games. Needs to attract people more than ever after pityful Wii U sales.

My opinion

Nintendo

- Zelda NX (Launch)

- New Super mario 3d (64/sunshine styled) (Launch)

- Luigi mansion 3 (Launch)

- New Animal Crossing (Launch or within first 3-6 months)

- SSBNX/ Mario kart 8/ Splatoon (WiiU games but various new content and Free download upon console purchase).

- New metroid game (early footage game over a year off)

- F- Zero project (confirmed but very early footage shown)

Retro

- New IP (available within 6-12 months of launch)

- Metroid Prime ( HD remaster/ Surprise title within 3 months of NX launch)

Third Party titles need to launch same time as Xbone & PS4 releases unless there before the NX launch and then they need to launch with the console. Nintendo needs to get all the strong saling titles (COD, FIFA, Battlefield etc etc.)

NX better be twice as powerful as Neo and launch with Zelda, Metroid, 3D Mario and every single third party game if they want anyone to care about it.

**** the line up if the price is not right. I don't envy Nintendo here. They are over 3 years late and launching after the holiday season. Then they need 3rd party support and great online gaming. They also need good hardware and marketing.

Even if they get everything right and that is highly unlikely with the current leadership screw ups at NOJ. Sony has sold 40 million and counting plus has the neo and PSVR plus exclusives in the pipeline. MS has sold almost 20 million x1's and has some interesting exclusives coming as well. After the holiday season when most people spend most their money is not the ideal time to launch any new products.

Yet this is classic nintendo. They do dumb shit on the regular smdh.
