what if the company of your favorite console said this was their last gen of gaming? i wonder what would happen to all the first party games. just thinking about no more Gran Turismo brings a tear to my eye
there will come a day when pc gaming completely takes over. This current gen could be the final gen for consoles. PC gaming is going to be even easier to do and much cheaper. Maybe not by next gen but maybe. You'd have to think that eventually pc's will be small things with practically no cords at all as well, and that they will find a place hooked up to an entertainment center where you watch movies, tv, and do internet all off of your pc. People are starting to do it now.
When pc does all these things so easily that it becomes popular, accepted, and expected, then consoles wont really have a point. Nintendo is trying something different out with the wii, a way for consoles to be less like pcs, but in the end it is nothing that pcs cannot copy
