kidtendo has owned the haldheld market for the last 18 years...then sony sells half of what the DS sells for 2 times the price? i would say when PSP2 comes it would be over for kidtendo

True. The PSP literally is a portable PS2. Hardly any new IPs, just ports from PS2 games.

DS is a much more fun handheld.

Anyway, If you take out the exclusive like he said, and do the math the PSP has roughly twice as many AA games. There are some new games for you, not ports. Their are plenty of new IP's too, like crush.

Finally, "fun", is completely opinionated, I say the PSP is more fun.:P

Obviously a sad attempt. The PSP was slated to talk out the DS in its king of handheld market this gen guess what ? they didn't in fact they didn't even come close so by SW the PSP is considered a hard flop Sony is losing more and more money on the PS3 and PSP well Nintendo manages to bring in quite a profit of its own. 'kay, I tried counting, but I realllllly don't feel like checking whether each game from the DS' and PSP's line-up of hundreds of games are exclusive or not. For AAA's, PSP lost 2 (Tekken: DR and Burnout Legends) and the DS lost one (Mario Kart). For AA's I got a rough estimate of about 22 or so, for the DS I'll go with your count of ten. I'm pretty sure neither of us wants to go count the A's, so we'll just do with these two:

(updated for rough estimates of exclusives)

PSP: 3 AAA's, 36 AA's

DS: 4 AAA's (6 counting the two other versions of Nintendogs), 17 AA's

As for any other replies I missed, AgentFred pretty much said what I would've.

Sales are irrelevant; it's already been decided that here on System Wars, games decide who wins, not sales. DS wins in quantity of games. Quality is subjective; but just for giggles, let's look at GS scores:

u do know gamespot is biased and lately has been very painful, besides look at the ps2 top games, so many triple A and even a 10, no wonder, if u want average , go look at gamerankings bud, oh look ds has better games, u fail.

And also sales matters, if a system and it's games sells a lot (ds wins in both areas right now , go look at the NPD) that means it's a sucess, if ppl doesnt buy it, it's a fail,

If Gamespot is biased, it's definately not to the PSP.
