What's got the largest chance at G.O.T.Y ATM?

Gears of war 3 for me, it's literally the best game I've played this generation and dare I say ever. Bravo Epic games.

Then probably Uncharted 3 or Skyrim is in my hype head, waiting for release opinions.

I put my largest personal GOTY contenders. Just select "Other" if you've got a different opinion.

Uncharted 3 will probably get a bunch of them even though when I look at that game it makes me wonder why it gets that much praise to have like 30 GOTYs.

For me it is currently El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron.

Gears 3 or Skyrim for me, Gears is the most fun I've had in a long time. I love everything, Horde, Beast, MP, I haven't tried campaign yet, but I'll like it too.

Of the games currently released, Portal 2 or Gears of War 3 have great chances.

Of games not out yet, Batman: Arkham City looks great, as does Skyrim. Maybe Uncharted 3.

It's going to be over shadowed review wise by more "original games". I guess perfecting the same formula that we all loved and enjoyed means a lower score. (Can't score Gears 2 lower though, because it totally changed a lot compared to three and was without doubt perfected! /s)

Probably Skyrim but I think Uncharted 3 will be the best game of 2011

I don't know, I wasn't really impressed with Dues Ex. I mean it was pretty fun, it just wasn't amazing.

So far its Deus Ex HR by far!

We talking about who will win GotY on GS, or our personal game of the year? Thread title looks like one, poll looks like the other. My personal GotY, of the games out so far is either Space Marine or LBP2. I expect Dark Souls, Skyrim, and Uncharted 2 to be in the running as well, but obviously I haven't played them yet.

As for GS's awards, it's fairly obvious Gears 3 will be in the running. I expect Dark Souls, Skyrim, Uncharted 2, and Skyward Sword to potentially be nominated as well, but have this feeling Dark Souls might get the "same as last time" smack down and end up 8.5'd. I really have no idea what's most likely to win.

skyrim looks like one hell of a game. a definite upgrade from oblivion. but you have uncharted to compete against.

unless uncharted 3 sucks, id say skyrim.

if uncharted 3 is better than uncharted 2, then i think it could go either way.

Deus Ex for me. Although Gears 3 is great. I just got past Act III and it made me sad :'(

Skyward Sword will most likely be my GOTY.

I predict that Skyrim will win GOTY at GS and IGN.

I think Skyrim will take GotY because it is the only game being released this fall that has a real shot at a 10.

Even though I've put no life hours into Gears 3 the past day, I'm still sticking with The Witcher 2 for my GOTY.

I would like to see The Witcher 2 get GOTY here. That and Portal 2 are easily the best games I've played this year
