rename it I-pod-wiistation 3 and sell it at 50.99 it should then be able to ketch up and pass the wii. but in the process sony would be sued by both apple and nintendo and they would lose around $300 per unit.
Pretty much.Maybe not Microsoft to shut down Microsoft just wouldn't have to sell for a couple of months or more. But Yeah Nintendo would have to shut down and the Wii would have to not sell at all and maybe some Wii's will have to be returned to Nintendo.
PS3 will probably sell more than the 360, but it will be after MS has come out with another console and is not really supporting the 360 anymore. Then the cows will claim ownage that the PS3 has more over all sales. It will be sad really.
2 things 1) ninty go out of business. maybe through some big scandal....maybe the banks they do business with rob all their money....whatever. basically ninty have to cease trading. 2) a price cut combined with the new controller AND (and this is the most important thing) an exclusive killer app to show it off. and i dont mean the next god of war or killzone..they wont cut it....a big system seller that appeals to, as SW referrs to, the filthy disgusting hateful casuals + the hardcore. the PS3 needs its tetris, its GTA, its wii sports. if those 2 things happen then the PS3 might just pull it off. a price cut on its own wont do it better online wont do it (most people (thats ppl outside SW) dont care) the next uncharted, killzone, resistance, R&C and GOW combined wont make much of a dent either. blu-ray movies havent and will not do it. the PS3 above all else needs a system seller and killer app....something to show people clearly why they should pay more for a PS3.
