Dude, already a million other people made this sort of topic. Its getting really annoying, because nobody cares what you think about the game.
In many opinions that greatly out number yours, it is a really fun game. I don't like it either. I hate how life is handled in this game and I just don't enjoy it. :| I prefer F.E.A.R. Were not the only ones, there are a large group of people who think Halo is overrated. But please, don't be like the worst of us and join a stupid campaign against the game or something.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion but games don't become the fastest selling pre-order in history for being "6/10" as you put it.

Nothing, ive played the online for quite some time with friends, ive played campaign, and multiplayer, and i can strongly say that thers nothing inovative or fun about this game. Online is fun for about 30 min and the rest is boring. Id give it 7/10
halo single player is ok. multiplayer is what makes it really shine. for me the best thing i like about it are some of the maps. and the br and sniper cool but thats it. but i dont think its the best game ever not even the best multiplayer ever. but it is fun

Well just because you don't like it, doesn't mean others can't think it is great. It has to be doing something right if it already has over a million pre-orders.
Congratulations, you just answered your own question. Its so great because everyone, even people who dont like it are talking about it, including you. It has brought the masses to console fps gaming, much like goldeneye. Its a perfect balance of multiplayer and singleplayer, the ai, the weapons balance etc. etc.
