The worst? This controller handled FPS games like a dream. You were probably holding it wrong.
I like the wii remote because it is as precise as the mouse and it is easy to move around because of the joystick. Not to mention you feal more like your holding a gun. EmperorZeruel
Probably the mouse + keyboard for accuracy but I would take the Wiimote or analog sticks any day since I hate being hunched over a computer while I play. The Wiimote is actually extremely easy to aim since you are basically just pointing it at the screen.
Out of those selections it would be the KBM. But everyone knows the best controllers for First Person Shooters is the controller with Trigger buttons.

I was holding it by the middle part, not the sides.
Keyboard and Mouse >>> Wiimote >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dual Analog
That's my opinion anyways, I just can't stand DA. :(

I LOVED the n64 controller. And goldeneye was amazing, one of the best FPS' ever, and it was used with the "awkward as hell" n64 controller[QUOTE="lupinelope"][QUOTE="black_awpN1"][QUOTE="CB4McGusto"]

The trick is to put your left hand on the dpad and your right hand on the analog.
KB/M is good for crouch/stand snipe spammers.wok7
Interesting. What game is it you're playing that allows you to "spam" with a sniper rifle?
Too bad the wii isnt not as powerful as a 360 or had online mode as good as 360. If it was it would of been the best console for fps. EmperorZeruel
No even close, its manbearpig. As you can see in games like metriod you would have to do some EXTREME aim assist to even think about playing the wii (multiplayer).
I fell in love with the Keyboard and Mouse combo ever since I've played Call of Duty. I never get how console shooters work, especially with the Dual Analog, but I can snipe just as well, if not slower. For me, it has to be quick, and playing Call of Duty 4 on the DS convinced me that good graphics won't mean a thing if the controls are flat out garbage (PSP, I'm looking at you). As for the Wii-Mote, I haven't played on it, so the jury is still out. Touch-Pad is the future of FPS gaming on handhelds!!!

metroid is the only game on the wii that has that, you can turn that off anyway if you dont want it. If you play a game like MOHH2 thats when you see how the wii remote can be used very well in a FPS

This ownage is sig worthy. :D
Played CS lately? The Autosnipe and awp ruin that game if their not banned weapons.[QUOTE="black_awpN1"][QUOTE="lupinelope"][QUOTE="black_awpN1"][QUOTE="CB4McGusto"]

that really depended on what game you were playing, games like kirby and the crystal shards yes thats how you needed to because you had to use the dpad for controlling kirby, but for some games you needed to hold the middle and the right part

I have turned it off and yes it unplayable(not really just hard to play). Then try turning on the wii (putting your corsur on the side of the screen is dumb), if you were getting shot from behind theres no way of turning the tide which is very frustrating.
Well if we cant admit on this point how about that DA is better than wiimote online

Actually, I think right hand on D pad and left hand on analog would be more convenient.[QUOTE="ofx360"][QUOTE="EmperorZeruel"]Too bad the wii isnt not as powerful as a 360 or had online mode as good as 360. If it was it would of been the best console for fps. EmperorZeruel

Which, btw ofx360, has zero aim assist and still allows you to pick off people with ease (in multiplayer).

Because it's still wrong
turn the settings all the way up and turn speeds are on the PC KB+M level. That's the beauty of customizable settings, if you don't like the turn speed, you change it
Also, you don't point the curser all the way to the side to turn, oh and there's no on screen curser
Edit: sorry, I thought you were talking about MoH H2. but seriously dude, Metroid is great but a shooter it isn't. The FPS standard is now considered MoH H2 which has a online multiplayer that works very well, and is even more intense with tight twitch controls not possible on DA.

I was speaking generally i havent played MOHH2. And know imagine urself aiming at something in the distance you see accuracy is an issue. With the DA u arent having a shaky cursor like the wiimote.
You know what this argument wont be squashed untill there is a battle between the two. That'd be cool
