What's the big deal about Fable 2?

Fable was hyped so much years ago and it didn't even get a 9.0 on Gamespot. So what's the big deal? And before some of you argue that Killzone got a 6.9, I just want to say the same thing. I know there's room for improvement but how much better can a game get from the original?

The original Fable was a very good game whether it got a 9 or not. I can't speak for Killzone, but Fable seemed to be a disappointment mainly for those who were extremely hyped by Molyneux.

Fable 2 looks to greatly improve on the original. Much larger areas, more to do in Albion and co-op are all things to consider as to why this sequel is worth checking out if you disliked Fable for its shortcomings.

Lionhead make decent games.

Molyneaux is a master at hype.

The 360, while making great strides in its JRPG library, has very little to show in exclusive WRPGs.

Combine these factors, and you get Fable 2 hype. That's not to say that Fable 2 won't be good, but a lot of the reason it's being celebrated is divorced from its quality.

from the original? yes

form the sequel? nothing worth playing from my experience

Neverwinter nights 2 was a full disapointment to me (even bigger then Fable was) the only thing that saved NWN2 was the mask of the betrayer

Eh, Fable was really one of those games that boasted immense choice, but all you really needed to do was reload the game at 2-3 points, pick the different option, and watch things pan out differently.

Fun is relative. Length is not.

Fabile can't even make it in the Pc game market it sucks so bad. Only the best game devs can handle the pc game market.

Ok you want to see how good a game really is. The place that game in the Pc game market!!! When faible came to Pc the game sucked badly. Now both never winter knights 1 and 2 have done way better in sales on the Pc. That is a fact!

By THE WAY PC GAMING HAS HIGHER GAME STANDARDS. enough said so if came to console it would have better scores sorry!! proff in the pudding both never winter and never winter nights 2 are better games than fabile.

the thing is hermits are usually the most (and im going to use this word loosely) intelegent fanboys on SW, i mean even spybot-9 made some good points now and then, heck he would even give you links on how to build a decent PC under 400 bucks, so he was usefull now and then
