Blue Dragon isn't really a good game xbox offical mag gave it an 8 I reacall, Forza? Ha and aracde GT ripoff. Lost Odyssey dosen't look very good at all, E3 was appauling. Ninja Gaiden is inferior to GoW and the PS3 has Sigma.

At the end of the day 360's best games are shooters or have some kind of shallowness to them. Oblivion is GTA with magic.

Oblivion dosen't count either becuase thats a casual medievil GTA. So all the 360's worthwhile games are shooters.

I beat the dam game, its a first person GTA. Its not an RPG, well not a true one like Final Fantasy or its prequal morrowind.

Shooter is shooter. Either first or third makes almost no difference. So Gears > Resistance.

Oh, and with Halo 3 coming out soon I guess you're out of luck at all.

Resistance has more realistic graphics better online mode and better AI.

Gears is plasticy, bad AI, Bad online were everybody uses the chainsaw boyanet, sloppy controls the A button does too much. At the end the only explanation i can come up with id that the PS3 must have higher standards is resistace came to the 360 then it would of got AAA.

Wow, this thread went south quick. ME is being touted as Bioware's most epic game ever. When that same company developed Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, and KOTOR those words carry a lot of weight. Throw in space travel, a combat system that mixes real-time and turn-based strategies, great graphics and sound, an almost guaranteed epic storyline that is the first in the trilogy, and dowloadable episodes after it's release, what ISN'T a big deal with Mass Effect? The whole game screams big.

Both have generic missions and predictable stories. Oblivion wasn't a true RPG, if GTA had magic they would be the same games.

U r wrong. Resistance MP is a zergfest, even worse than battlefield 2. Has BAD AI, i played it unlike u. And the 2 last gen sticks wont cut it for shooters. And the graphics arent better than call of duty 3.

It has better online than gears, better AI than gears, gameplay is an opinion but i enjoyed Killswitch more tha gears.

Shooter is shooter. Either first or third makes almost no difference. So Gears > Resistance.

Resistance has more realistic graphics better online mode and better AI.

Gears is plasticy, bad AI, Bad online were everybody uses the chainsaw boyanet, sloppy controls the A button does too much. At the end the only explanation i can come up with id that the PS3 must have higher standards is resistace came to the 360 then it would of got AAA.

U r wrong. Resistance MP is a zergfest, even worse than battlefield 2. Has BAD AI, i played it unlike u. And the 2 last gen sticks wont cut it for shooters. And the graphics arent better than call of duty 3.

It has better online than gears, better AI than gears, gameplay is an opinion but i enjoyed Killswitch more tha gears.

No u r wrong again. Gears has better online, better AI. And most ppl who played both liked gears more. But i enjoyed golden eye more than resistance.

Mass Effect basically lets you star in a big budget science fiction film. The primas itself is incredibly exciting, but more so are the ideas behind the game. Conversation take place in real time, the battle system uses TPS like system, and the game is absolutely huge.

And to top it all of, it's made by Bioware, the makers of KOTOR.

Dude, seriously. Come on. I can take any game on ps3, and SOMEHOW compare it to gta, like you did with oblivion. And earlier, you said "Still, my point is..." blah blah "Resistance is better" blah blah "Oblivion isn't a true rpg, it's GTA". I have a ps3. Resistance is a good game, and no more than that. It's online is actually boring, and I'd much rather NOT play with 40 people, as it's trigger happy mindless chaos. And i thought your point was that 360 has nothing but shooters? Or that all lemmings love blood and gore? Earlier you even said that magic, melee combat, and other things are comparable to shooters. Well, I guess every game is a shooter except puzzle games, huh? I pretty much agree with you about the graphics part, but I think people hype graphics the most at the beginning of each generation just because it is something they haven't seen before. Nobody can deny that Mass Effect looks and sounds amazing and will most likely be an AAA game, but what happens when you have 10 games with pretty much the same story that look the same or just as good as Mass Effect? They all won't get AAA because the graphics are jaw dropping like a lot of people here think. Graphics can only take a game so far cause sooner or later GAMEPLAY and ORIGINALITY will have to kick in. I really feel sorry for lemmings and cows when graphics do hit a point where they can't get any better cause then what are you going to have? Are yall goin to be dissatisfied with gaming when graphics can't get any better.

Who knows, it will probably be a pretty good game. However, i would like to point out Fable. That game was terribly overhyped as well, "limitless exploration! non linear gameplay, do anything you want and become anything you want, 100's of hours of gameplay" and so much more. Look how that turned out. To me it seems a bit stupid how people are hyping this game so much from just one (or was it two?) gameplay footage videos. It does look to be something special, but i think the hype is just a tiny bit too much.

I'm not implying anything about the wii. I just think developers need to start focussing more on gameplay and originality in games than just graphics, graphics, graphics, same old, same old, same old, oh and more graphics. But I don't see how that will ever happen because if a game has jaw dropping graphics, then people will eat it up, but if the graphics are just ok, they say the game is gonna suck and pass on it. It's a shame too cause there are a lot of great games that get passed up on because the graphics aren't up to snuff.
