What's the longest a console has gone without an AA+ exclusive in its lifetime ?

Why do so many PS3 fans brag about their games then? Even in a drought the 360 still has a better game library then the PS3. So if the PS3 games are so uber great like some like to act then how with the 360 having a drought still a better library then the PS3?CanYouDiglt

Assuming this is correct, that means that the 360 overtook that formerly held PS3 record, as Halo ODST and Forza come out after August.

Although, the 360 kinda gets a free ride, since it's 1st year, it had no next gen competition...kinda like the Dreamcast, but the 360 was far more successful. :)
Ah well, I suffered through PS3's 2007, and 360's 2008, I can make it throught 2009 as well. :)

Yeah, 2008 was a good year for 360, I was just trying hard to remember AAAE's, but it had a good mess of AAe's to fill that void. Sure, the 360 didn't get as many AAAe's as the PS3 in 2008, but the AAE's made up for that. 2009 doesn't have the AAe or AAAe love. I guess 2010 will be a juggernaut year for both companies going for the championship belt, and I got two front row tickets. :)

IF DLC counted, then we would have more games to tabulate, for both XBLA, PSN, and Wiiware/Virtual Console.

Quite Frankly, it's a whole huge problem, not even going into the massive threads about how DLC is critiqued by a differente standard.

Bottomline, it's messy for all consoles.

I never said the Xbox 360 was doing good either -- in fact, I've consistently said the opposite. Both have been doing horrible this year in regards to exclusives -- Xbox 360 arguably doing worse.Stevo_the_gamer
