The major difference is the games the other doesn't have.
But...that's pretty much it IMO.

Blu-Ray, RROD and price?Floppy_Jim

Oh yes, and price too.
360 offers essentially the same experience at half the price (assuming gaming is your #1 priority).

Not if you want to play online but I think SW has seen enough of these price arguments :P

talking about RROD is not fanboyism. its just part of the 360 legacy like DRE is part of the ps2 legacy.

talking about RROD is not fanboyism. its just part of the 360 legacy like DRE is part of the ps2 legacy.

but when it's just stated that ONLY the 360 fails is fanboyism

like i said...the PS3 has been failing just as much as of late and the 360 failing less and less more

it's true, i see failure topics all on the PS3 forums

plus there are a TON of AS-IS PS3's on ebay (broken) that are all pretty much due to hardware failure

I'd say conflating PS3 failure rates with 360's is also fanboyism.

why are your feelings hurt? the truth is that 5 years from now people will remember RROD just like we all remember DRE thats just part of those two products legacy. NES we had to blow into our games and systems to get the games to play sometimes. just part of the NES lore and legacy.

One costs $199 while the other is $399 The one that is $199 also has a better scoring game library, larger one and also more diverse.

Lol. How is that ignorant?
You basically said the PS3 fails just as much as the 360 these days and that your "proof" is the PS3 section here at GS and eBay listings.

this means **** to me since i enjoy the PS3 exclusives more than the 360 exclusives i dont own a 360 but i've played Mass effect , Gears 1, Halo 3 and none of them are like awesome games to me. Gears is fun the first play through then it gets ******** boring and i dont like to play online to much either. The major difference to me is " games " since you can enjoy more the PS3 games than the 360 or viceversa.

Price and exclusives.Next-Gen-Tec

Honestly, for me, it's difficult to establish a difference. Could someone please tell me some PS3 exlusive games (I don't own a 360)?

Sorry for going a bit off-topic.I would have made my own thread, but the topic seemed a bit too small to fully discuss.

Xbox 360 Render the Boobs in Soul Calibur 4 alot more clearer and bounciful. Also Xbox 360 has the better games. Go for 360 Also! 360 can play WMV files so if you convert FLV files from Youtube to WMV you can watch youtube vids on 360.

Xbox is cheaper the day you buy it, but in the long run, might cost you more. PS3 is double the price when you buy it, but you wont have to buy as many add ons. The xbox is more of a shooter system, while the PS3 is more all around.

Well, 200 is half of 400. So, out of the gate, the 360 is in fact half the price. After 4 years of live however, they are the same price.

1. If ur going to compare the less expensive version of 360 then do the same for ps3.

2. Tht 200 one is worse than the wii lol.
