Laughing Octopus was probably the most memorable. It was strange , funny , and scary all in one.

No you're not. The bosses suck.

Probably Maiden Astraea from Demon's Souls.

She was like "Please dont hurt me."

And I was like "Haha Die you (female dog)!"

Bayonettas bosses: Jeanne, Sapietia, Balder, and Jubileus.
And i'll throw GOW3 a bone and say Posieden and Chronos

It was somewhat of a mini-boss in Batman: AA where you fought two titans, and a horde of other goons in a pretty small room.

Dodging, and countering, and beating the crap out of everyone, and pulling it off flawlessly resulted in a ripped body, two hot women (one for each arm), and 3 inches of extra length. 8)

Damn that fight was awesome. That game made me feel like a bad-ass while playing it.

just about anything from demon's souls. The boss fights are epic and extremely rewarding when you finally take one down. Not to mention there's also a lot of bosses

Yeah, I know. But I was saying that I think that the pair of scarabs in the Covenant level was a better "boss" to fight.

the snow boss (or whatever) is totally broken tho

all you have to do is immediately goto one of the buildings in the center of the map, she can't touch you, and you can just sit there and camp all day against the frogs

i think the fastest i killed her was in maybe 5 minutes or less on the hardest difficulty setting

The Undeep from Lost planet comes to mind.

This pic is just to show how large the thing is, but don't be entirely fooled by the picture, you don't get any advanced mechs for this thing.

I like this boss fight from it's unique setup. Your objective isn't to kill the undeep, as most players figure out early on. You just need to run like hell and get to the other side of a snow-plain that seems miles long. Not only is it nearly invincible, but most of it's attacks 1-shot kill you.

On normal, one of these worms chase you down.

On hard, you have to try to run away from two of them.

On extreme theres three, good luck with that.

An massive map, combined with a huge and scary boss and an epic musical piece make it the most memorable boss fights for me in these last few years.

The Rex vs Ray battle was awesome on so any levels in MGS4.

THE MOST EPIC BOSS battle this gen DEFINATELY FOR ME...

Every single JEANNE battle. She was hard for me so i had to fast fight push a lot of buttons there was soo many combo's on screen/blocking and dodging it was just epic pulling off so many epic moves really fast.

Yeah.. cAUSE im not a wimp and have my battles scripted for me COUGHS GOD OF WAR 3 COUGHS. Kratos...fights scripted battles and doesn't afraid of anything.

Demon's Souls - tower knight, armored spider, the false king, the dragon god

Muramasa the demon blade - most of the boss fights in muramasa = pretty epic, the most epic would have to be inugami tokugawa tsunayoshi's fight.

Bayonetta's bosses are pretty epic too.

I'd go with pretty much any boss from those 3 games, demon's souls, bayonetta, and muramasa.

Well the MOST epic boss fight for me, as in singular, would have to go to Old Snake vs. Liquid Ocelot on top of submarine at the end of MGS4. Yeah, first time I played that portion the adrenaline was spikin'. palms were sweatin', I was in the zone man!

All major Bosses in Bayonetta were so Epic, specially Jeanne, the 4th cardinal and Balder.

Other than that i could mention Ganondorf fights in TP, the Savior in DMC4 and the last Boss in MGS4, at least those are the most Epic for me.
