What's the most epic boss fight this gen.? (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

I just remembered!

The Omega pirate from Metroid Prime was insane!

The thing was incredibly difficult if you didn't know the right tricks to kill it.

I remember the first time I beat it, my palms were red and close to sweating, my adrenaline was rushing and I was even shaking a little bit!

ALSO: Super Mario 64, Bowser in the sky. Simply Awesome.

So my votes go for:

Most huge scale- Undeep from LP

Most engaging- Omega pirate from MP

Most classic- Bowser in the sky from SM64

Other then her... Bayonetta, Resident Evil 5, God of War III bosses.

I feel the same. Going from bosses like The Fear and the End tothe lameB&Bs is hugely disappointing. Rex vs Ray battle was awesome though.

God of War 3 Poseidon and Cronos, edge going to Poseidon.

Super MArio Galaxy. They were easy but still alot of fun

343 Guilty Spark. LOL, just kidding, might be the worst. ever.

Gears 2 had some really good ones.

Solid vs. Liquid.Pure epic. Specially the music.

I agree as well. I love mgs to death but ew. They were..neat? No really, they were but so lackluster. Not his best design ideas. Though the beauties as the name suggests were real babes :P

Best boss fight this gen is Succubus from Super Strip Fighter 4. Well not really but who cares? This gen has failed at final bosses. Look at Tekken 6, Soul Calibur 4, Street Fighter 4 final bosses. LAME. Ergh I give up on this gen.

Liquid Ocelot, Bowser and most GoW bosses come to mind.

That may be a little excessive, but Radec was a terrible boss. A terrible way to end a pretty damn fun game.

Even if the light bulb (said in commemoration of Sgt. Johnson) was a boss, at least the game didn't build him up to be an honorable and hardened soldier like KZ2 did with Radec and then have the battle go like that!

yeah, I've heard of the 343 thing not intending to be one. but it sort of played out like one, one that has little depth.

It is plain stupid, it is a balancing act between reviving your retard teamate and kill the Helghast and restock on ammo while being sniped at by the honorable and noble Col. Radec. My ass!

Edit: I forgot the best part! After that segment of joy you get to finally fight Radec one on one (because your teamate will probably trip over himself and die), but wait there is a twist! The honorable and noble and glorious Colonel Radec fights you in Predator mode(he is invisible)! Joy!

For me, it was this guy. Super human dashing, stupidly powerful attacks, stupidly power defense, and the ability to permanently steal your soul level while killing you in the process.

Oh, and did I mention you have to run past a dragon that can kill you in one hit before you can get to this guy?

Radec from Killzone 2 was a terrible boss fight, omg, lol...

Probably Angra Mainyu (Ahriman) from Prince of Persia [2008]. The buildup to that point was insane, and the battle, despite being short, was quite epic, given the circumstances surrounding it (that and the angle in which it was portrayed was quite unique).
[spoiler] The fact that he is on the brink of escape and you are fighting for Ahura Mazda (Ohrmazd) and he represents everything evil and corrupt in the world... and you are the single thing between him and release. And ironically, upon his "defeat" and re-sealing, you decide to release him anyways. [/spoiler]
Amazing game, with amazing boss fights... not matter what detractors might say. Sure, they were "easy" but they were also incredibly satisfying, and the depth of the story added so much to everything.
