Halo 3

/thread

Dencore

how is halo 3 original? its just halo with more weapons and better graphics its just a normal fps. yes it will be intense and awesome but it isn't anything that we haven't seen before to a certain degree.

He was jokin. I seriously hope at least.

Why would I be joking? The Halo series is the most innovative FPS series of all-time Halo 2 prooved this by being the first FPS to ever have online.

Insert console right before FPS and maybe I'll agree with you.

Edit: I will be soooo angry if that's sarcasm.

Is that a joke?....Im pretty sure I have been playing FPS's online for over a decade now......

What are you talking about? Before Halo came out most FPS's were on PC's. And PC's don't have online to begin with.

Stop being such a cow and face the facts, PC's never have had online before, why is this so hard to understand?

I've never seen online play on a PC before.

In my searches...I also discovered the fact that somehow IBM was founded way back in 1888, and apparently sold computers to the Nazi's.

OMG SW is amazing. In a thread that deals with original games, you somehow end up with IBM selling computers to Nazis.

He's acting like a typical SONY fanboy who can't accept the facts like Microsoft creating the first console to have online. What's next he's going to claim it wasn't the first with HD or Downloadable content?

Ready for ownage.......... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribes_%28Game%29 . Tribes also did alot things that halo is famous for.
"Starsiege: Tribes was one of the first first-person shooters meant to be played exclusively against other human players across computer networks, either on a LAN or over the Internet. Its only solo play consisted of a few training missions. It was also one of the first first person shooters to feature vehicles as a major gameplay element, and it was known for its very large outdoor levels."

I knew the 1888 bit. They beat Nintendo by a year.

Computers to Nazis is new to me.

Exactly a FIRST-FIRST person shooter.

first=1

and 1+1=2.

So Tribes is a Second Person Shooter

No offense but it seems to me that you lack common sense amongst mathematics.

^^^Whatever fine Tribes may be a FPS, but in the end it doesn't matter since I can still play Halo 2 on my 360.

Can't play Tribes on your PC because PC's don't have backwards compatablity.

In my head there is this voice that says leave him alone. But i have to set you straight. The games themselves are backward compatible. True Pcs arent backward compatible thats because the games are.

So the games are backwards compatable but the PC isn't?

That makes no sense.

PC's have always used a different format, and once you get a new PC there's no way to change the format it is bonded too.
