Whats the point of buying an xbox now that ps3 price is low??

Halo 3, Halo ODST, Forza 3, Mass Effect, Alan Wake..... shall I continue?... Okay.... Splinter Cell: Conviction, Crackdown 1 & 2, Halo Wars, Left4 Dead 1&2, Gears of War 1,2 & 3, GTAIV Episodic Content, Lost Odyssey.

yeah TC... I can't figure out why anyone would want a 360 either. :roll:

Oh forgot this is system wars. So that being said, you get a lot more value out of the ps3 then the 360. Is it true that Japan is giving 360's for pratically free and still no one is taking them? I do think 360 is worth having if you collect every system ever made.ez_moneymaker

Let's see here:

1.) It's $100 more cheaper than the PS3.

2.) Most multiplats run, look, & play better than the PS3 versions.

3.) Better online & tons of features.

4.) Better PC conversions, among other things.

5.) Better controller (IMO).

6.) About Blu-Ray, there are some standalone Blu-Ray players out there that are even better than the Blu-Ray player inside the PS3 itself (even though the Blu-ray player is fantastic on PS3). Plus possibly more cheaper, too.

7.) 360's library is much larger than PS3's.

Anything else I'm missing?

all IYO and yes i can admit that online is way better on xbox but c'mon psn is free lol

OT: well people like this man like the exclusives and other cool features that the xbox has. im actually considering getting a xbox but since SO4 is on PS3 the only games i want on the xbox are mass effect and splinter cell adn both of those are better on the PC and plus there are more PC excluseives i want so yea PC>most consoles :P

the obly reason i have to buy a 360 is to play with my friends, wich is kind of lame cause the play cod 4 wich i have on my ps3

Contrary to belief, there are alot of games on 360 that cannot be played anywhere else. Especially looking just at PS3/360/Wii.

I'm going to go with those games as a reason for picking up a 360. Halo ODST, Forza 3, Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake (apparently 360 exclusive now that the pc version was cancelled), etc.

I own all the consoles though so, either way, I win. :)

If I tried to put Halo 3 in a PS3, it wouldn't work.

At least with my PS3, I have collected an unbelievable amount of dust. I'm this close to unlocking the dust trophy. Uncharted 2 will probably ruin any chance of that.

For the Xbox exclusives and the 360-Pc multiplats that the Ps3 don't have.

People, TC does make a good point. The X360 used to be good with the PS3 having such a high price and not the best of games. But now the price is very reasonable and the game line-up unmatched.

i dont see the point. at beggining i admit that it would make sense to buy it, cause of the ps3 high price and poor library, altough i dont know xbox intial library. but as there was no way i would buy and xbox over a ps, i waited for ps3 price drop and got it last year. anyway. really, i dont see any advantages of the xbox over the ps3 now. ps3 has now a better library, and if you dont consider that a fact, at least you most consider it is the one wtih more types of games. you dont get good plataform games like ratchet or LBP on xbox. thats just an example. then it doesnt even have an WI-FI, i found this today, i couldnt even imagine it not having it. you have to pay to play online. and it has RROD, wich happens a lot. whats the point of buying a 360 over a ps3?? none. and you should stop comparing forza3 to GT5 cause thats hilarious. forza at same lv of GT. Indeed there is no point, but I have 2 so I myswell stick with them.
