In my opinion it's the Wii, worst games ever, and too much shovelware.

Why does the shovel ware affect you? U dont have to buy/play it. If the games dont appeal, then thats cool. But the shovelware does not make it a bad system. In my opinion it's the Wii, worst games ever, and too much shovelware.

Yes it does, because that's what's mainly to choose from.In my opinion it's the Wii, worst games ever, and too much shovelware.

I understand if there is less games on the system u want to play compared to other systems. but the amount of shovelware has no real bearing on the matter. In my opinion it's the Wii, worst games ever, and too much shovelware.

Wii has a horrible library of 3rd party games. the only games I ever found appealing were all 1st party NINTENDO. Nintendo has betrayed its core target audience, who have helped them survive in the days of N64 and even GameCube, in favor of "causual gamers" aka "non-gamers" to try and make a profit. and it has worked so far, but come next gen, when they fail at capturing the audience of "casual gamers", and the real gamers abandon them, theyre all going bankrupt. I know for sure that next gen the console im definatly not buying for the first time since5th gen is a nintendo console.
Xbox 360 has a great game library but theyre beginning to milk the cash cow dead if you know what I mean. Theyre putting up advertisements ON THE DASHBOARD with video and AUDIO! They have been pulling stunts like this forever, including forcing you to pay to play multiplayer games when the same multiplayer in the same game is 100% free on ps3.
And the ps3 is just overpriced. But that might change mid august if you consider the mass amount of rumours.
Wii>>360>>>PS3.
For me.
Between the virtual console, Wiiware, Backwards Compat. and decent lineup, the Wii is a awesome console, but its just not for everyone.
The 360 satisfys my non-Wii gaming need just fine, plus I favor its exclusives over the PS3.
I had a PS3 before, almost never touched it, but I am now considering getting another one for a few of its upcoming exclusives. Its not a bad console, its just really lacks when it comes too exclusives IMO.
The Wii. When I come home from work, I want to relax on my chair and play a game, not using even more energy to move my hands and arms around in order to move my avatar on screen. Then, coupled with it's poor library, it just doesn't do it for me.
wii. First i dunno how they even came up with that name. sounds like someone whos on the wrong path if you know what i mean.
and the games mostly suck. Nintendo could have done so good with metroid prime 3 in hd but =/
I agree, the PS3 and 360 are great because of their games. I give the nod to the PS3 for its graphics, exclusives, and dependability. The Wii is just underpowered, shovelware, great for parties, but by urself....well ur playing with ur wii by urselfnot worst but wii gets less love from me..
IMO
PS3>360>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>wii

In my opinion, because of the way it was designed and the direction they went in it, they sold, more but sacrificed their ways of doing things. Many of the epic franchises that used to be on nintendo are no longer there because of simple foolish decisions they made.
I play my wii for the VC and that's about it. It's sad.

Whats even more sad is you bought it just for VC..... and are just now regreting it.
For me, I have to say the Wii. It has had some fantastic titles (Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3) but they are just waaaaaay too far and between. Maybe it is because I don't consider myself a casual gamer, maybe it is because I prefer a bit of production value in my games or maybe it is because I don't always like being forced to have to flail my arms around for a game to work, but I simply prefer the 360 and PS3 over the Wii. Now, if you had asked me a year and a half ago, I would have said PS3, but now it has proven itself and will continue to grow as a innovative and respected console from this generation. I prefer the 360 to all (online components and selection of games)
Fried Chicken
I don't know which is the worst console this gen I loved all the ones I played this gen.
[QUOTE="NBSRDan"]In terms of hardware, Wii. In terms of game library, PS3.GreenGoblin2099

you read it wrong he said the wii has the best hardware not software, and considering it's pretty much 0% failure rate i'd agree.
it's also not too bad to call the wii the best library, i'm pretty sure most people don't factor in buying shovelware titles when looking for a wii. if you prefer nintendo titles then there is no argument really, i just think the wii could have a few more games from other nintendo franchises to make it stronger.

*Worst, not best. Read the topic header. Wii has the worst hardware in two ways: 1) It has the slowest processing of the three, and 2) the motion controls, which are the whole gimmick backing the system's existence, don't work. The runner-up is the Xbox 360, since it has a failure rate of atleast 30%. PS3 is of course the best, being the only (current-generation) home console not previously mentioned in this paragraph. While it is not significantly, noticeably, or in-every-regard more powerful than the Xbox 360, it has a failure rate that is within the average, acceptable range for electronic devices. PS3 has the worst game library in that the only good games I can even name are various iterations of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, which are multiplatform, so while they're still a welcome addition to the system, they don't make it better comparatively. The runner-up is Xbox 360 which, while not bad perse, is certainly disappointing considering what we had in the previous generation. Wii is the best, being that it has the only AAA game of this generation. The Wii doesn't have much else though, so if you favor quantity you might consider Xbox 360 the best in terms of game library. Or to put it in simpler terms, Hardware: PS3 > Xbox 360 > Wii Software: Wii ~ Xbox 360 > PS3Wii. I got mine in summer of 07. Got my PS3 Winter of 08. Stopped playing my Wii in Winter 08 :P Last time I played it willingly was when i had to send my ps3 in cuz it broke in January this year
