Is it me, or is there a Surplus on Anit/Bashing PS3 Articles?

Well, Personally, i think that Microsoft is Paying Writers to make Articles bashing the PS3, but hey, Thats just me.

And when does any1 give a dam about what yahoo thinks about how the PS3 is doing?

You honestly think MS is paying people? Are you serious? And yahoo has video game writers just like a lot of other sites do. Are you a troll or something?

I've been wondering the same thing.

I remember at the beginning of this gen when all the articles were PRO-PS3, they all kept saying how the PS3 would beat the 360 and the Wii, you actually thought with how bad the PS3 is being beaten these articles would somehow NOT come to life?

Well think about it... I buy a controller, no rechargeable battery comes with it, thats extra. If I dont have wired, need to buy wireless, thats extra. Out of storage I have to pay out the a$$ for 120gb when its much cheaper for the PS3 to buy a HD. I do own both but I do feel MS nickel and dimes way more than Sony.

Dude, I lean towards MS in most cases because they're an American company. But if the price of HDTV's becomes affordable across the board, then the Blu ray thing makes complete sense. Most people I know who were looking for a game system, but by no means die hard about playing, bought a PS3 over the 360 because of Blu ray. I think that's what bugs some gamers, Sony put the onus on the HD format instead of games. But their games are coming and looking good to me. Glad I have both.

You don't need to play it to know what SONY does in it, they charge you for EVERYTHING, furniture, clothes, appliances....

The Industry is still used to Sony being a competative force in the gaming market after 2 generations of utter dominance. However, that has not happened this time, they are getting their asses wiped by Nintendo's hardware sales and the 360's software sales. When the best selling PS3 game is World at War, and the 360 version sold twice as many, you know something bad is happening over at Sony. And then, there is the DS vs. the PSP. Sure, we can say that the PSP is doing great, but it truly is little to no competition for the DS.

Can you open a 360 arcade and play games straight from the box? Yes, all the extras are optional and don't "enhance" anything, they are all luxuries.

Never needed a memory card to get on live, you do / did need one to save games, but the same can be said about the PS3, didn't you use to beable to play PS2 games on the Ps3 until recently?

EDIT: This argument goes round and round, fact is, all companies will milk you if you let them.

luxuries that affect the a gaming experience such as more comfortable playing from your living room without the need of a large ethernet cable running through the house. or the charge pack keeps the controller running longer without the need to get up and change/buy more batteries. and a hard drive to save games, movies, music, and themes/dlc that make gaming all the better. the things you buy in home aren't nearly as necessary to improve ones gaming experience as the peripherals stated. of course this could all be subjective but still is a valid point/argument.

Ethernet > Wireless, if you don't want to take the time to run a cable, than don't.

When the batteries in my PS3 controllers die, guess what? I have to buy new controllers.

When my PS3's HDD gets filled up because of all of the mandatory installs, I have to uninstall games then re-install them to replay those games.

The stuff in Home is massive milking, you cannot downplay it, if you want to really get into Home, you will end up spending a butt load of money to make your "Home" look / feel better.

All of these things are optional and all companies will milk you if you let them.

Ha, I couldn't see microsoft PAYING them to write that. What the **** do they care what people think? They're just going to do whatever they feel like. They've got the audience and the money to keep on keeping on. And no, I don't hate microsoft. I have a Windows computer and two Xbox systems.

It shows you how to change the battery in the controller in the instruction booklet for the PS3. Also they will send you a new battery. For the HD, I swapped my 60gb for 120gb from day 1. Also, if game installs are so bad then why did MS add this with the update?

I suppose having to install your games just to get them to run at a decent rate isn't ruining the experiance at all though.Or not having a standard out of the box headset isn't ruining the online experiance in team games and such?

Need me to go on or are you going to admit you have no argument? There both like that: Reality is if it plays games out the box the majority wont care.

i wouldnt know about the ps3 controllers dieing because mine havent and ive had it for almost a year and a half now but either way i heard that it was possible to replace the batteries. nevertheless you are right that all companies are into milking their consumers no matter what. vasichko is just saying that microsoft is nickel and dimeing with hte core essential to the gaming experience rather than a service in the console which ms also does by making the user pay for online.

I really dont think MS cares if the ps3 has a bad rep or a good rep with people. The xbox is doing so good they are in the green, paying no name writes to say bad things about the ps3 would be a huge wast of money. I think most people cant come to terms that someone actually does not like the PS3 so they have to think that everyone is conspiring aganst them. Guys give it up if you like the PS3 why care about what crappy writes say.

my guess is most of those writers owns a 360, if sony drops ps3's price, all the anti ps3 would convert but only some of them would admit it through internet forums
