Whats with the Wii Hate?

I dont get it.....

So what if it doesnt have a built in hard drive and who really cares that most of its games look like they can be done on a xbox, Online? who needs it, DVD player? thats so last gen, Mario game #38? Bring it on he never gets old...

It cost 250 to make for a reason whoops 200....ill spend the extra 50 to play with the Wiimote because guess what its all about gameplay!

I think it's mostly because the graphics suck and there's not enough space to hold all the VC downloads. The games aren't all that exciting either. Given it's still a new system and needs a bit more time for some really interesting games, it's lack of really compelling ones is what's hurting it now at this moment.PikaPichu

Compared to good Ps2 games,yes,it does look slightly better in most cases.
But compared to good games on Ps3/360,not at all...

        I hate it for the fact that it is a cheap gimmick system that is selling because of all the non-gamers.  If wii wins by a long shot in sales(which looks like is going to happen), i have this fear of gaming being ruined.  What would stop sony and ms from doing the same thing the wii has done if they notice the huge profit in it? I dont want that to happen. Gaming as we know it would be gone.

       Even though i happily like my wii i extremely hope that it suffers after next year.
