Mario Kart. The eternal king of kart racing :P
It's my favorite because I grew up with it, and all the MK games have great polish and are just plain fun. I'm not a fan of realistic or semi realistic racing games (Forza for example)

PGR definitely, they're just fantastic games, damn shame about BC .

yes.
blame activison for that...
BC should have sticked with MS. Microsoft owns the PGR brand and probably won't use anymore. And if it uses, will be with other development team.
Farewell to PGR and Midnight Club series.
Well T10 could pick up the franchise and i'd imagine they'd do a great job with it, but BC had magic that i doubt could be completely replaced.
I love all PGR games but my favorite one is the PGR 2. Used to play a lot with a friend on his xbox. I did 100% on my profile. Was a lot satisfying, indeed a magical game like no other racing game i've seen. The only negative thing of PGR 2 is the lack of lamborghinis! Apart from that, everything was perfect! PGR 3 Featured lambos, I wonder why the second didn't.

They probably weren't able to nail down a licensing deal with the Volkswagen Group to use Lamborghinis.
Burnout>all other arcade racers>that horrible crap we call racing sims(I find these to be dull and boring).
to me the last good game was hot pursuit 2... after that when they started going with the whole fast and the furious route with doing up ur cars and stuff like that..it got bad.mario kart is amazing
i personally dont understand why everyone loves the crappy nfs franchise

[QUOTE="AdobeArtist"][QUOTE="Heil68"] Considering the developers consider Forza not a true sim, I think he has a very valid point and should be included in the poll Since it's not I personally would pick Need For Speed from the TC's list. Heil68
What are you talking about? :? Turn 10 has always branded Forza as a sim racer. And that's what most gamers, aside from the GT fans that is, also see it as.
"Simulation games can be too hard for some players. "Forza Motorsport 3" rises above the distinction between simulation and arcade games " Not a true sim game. That means they desigend the game to be accessible to gamers not experienced in sim racers by making settings optional to players desires. It in no way implies they took the sim aspects out from previous instalments, and in fact improved many of what the series already had. Sim fans can still adjust the setting for the experience they want to have.
Being able to adjust settings for racing difficulty does not remove the game from the sim category.
And throwing in the PC argument is just like comparing its graphics to consoles. Sure it may be technically more advantaged, but that doesn't mean consoles lack graphics. Qualitative differences are not quantitative differences.
