What's your favorite game in the Metal Gear franchise?

Hello and good day to all!

I recently beat Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes for Gamecube. It's a great game, and has got me really interested in the series. I want to pick up Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 (when I replace my broken Ps2). I had a ton of fun playing this game, and from what I've heard the other Metal Gear games are great too. Which one is your favorite??

BTW, if you really liked MGS:TTS, you might wanna make sure you're aware that the dicrection is way diferent from the rest of the series. TTS has waaaaaaaaaay too much over the top action on the cutscenes, whereas the rest of the series is a bit more "serious".

Also, make sure you play them in the right order. I've seen a lot of people telling the newcomers to play them 3(3 is a prequel), 1, 2, 4. Just go with the proper order 1, 2, 3, 4.

This really doesn't belong in System Wars.

Ive only beaten 1 and 2, but Ive played them all.

Aw c'mon!! MGS has better story than a lot of games these days... you're telling me the MGS3 ending didn't cought you off guard?? Amazing plot twist there man, that's why I loved it so much.

Almost as epic as would you kindly, IMO.

1. MGS4 - epic

2. MGS2

3. MGS3

I really love plot tiwsts. I hate when I can descipher what's going to happen or when nothing great comes.

Kinda like inFamous... that shocker ending made it worthy for me :D

Ac!d is not bad at all... yeah, I was esckeptical about it. I even refused to buy a PSP when it came out... ended up getting one when PO was announced, got Ac!d and haven't regret my purchase ever.

Be sure to get FFVII CC, superb game.

For those who like card battles, I recommend Metal Gear Acid 2.

It's really cool with lots of extra stuff. Though I DON'T recommend for people who HAVEN'T FINISHED MGS3(PS2). :!:

MGA2 contains SPOILERS for MGS3.

Story wise: MGS2>MGS3>MGS1>MGS4?MGS:PO>MG2>MG1

gameplay wise: MGS4>MGS3>MGS2>MGS

overall favorite game: Metal Gear Solid 2
