Yoshi's Island and Tetris Attack are some of my favorites. TA however is just YI's music, but fit with a more faster tempo, and new music too, to accomodate the fast pace of Tetris Attack and add to the sudden pressure that can arise at any moment. :P
Also Final Fantasy VII or IX are some of my personal favs along with X.
Well, I like a lot of game soundtracks...some pretty old ones, too. Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island series, Shadow Of The Colossus, Super Mario RPG...the Punch-Out!! theme. Too many to list, really.

The PC-Engine one is Dracula X: Rondo of Blood, Nocturne in the Moonlight is Symphony of the Night. They just changed the name.
Nocturne re-uses some music that was in rondo, but overall has more and better tracks. But both Dracula X games have excellent soundtracks.
Games on from Nintendo 1. Zelda OoT 2. Banjo-Kazooie 3. Mario games(i like pretty much all of them other than the New Super Mario Bros) 4. Remixes of OoT on LOZ TP 5. Metroid Prime 6. Anything I cant remeber is probably on SSBM Other than that Halo 1 and 2 More I cant think of
metroid has always had amazing music that fits teh gaem perfectly, even in teh handhelds. and its not mario music either, it has actual feel to it, other than that i dont play many video games, uhh halo is pretty cool.
