Halo 2. Playing as Arbiter was epic awesome plus understood the lore behind zealot convenant's more precisely in Halo 2.

They're all more enjoyable in co-op, but I guess ODST is probably my favorite for SP. I can explore at my own pace, makes sneaking around easier in the open sections, and generally like the challenge balance of the game better.
I'd argue that Combat Evolved aged pretty badly. It's a tossup between 4 and Reach for me, although 2 3 and ODST are all good too.
They were all good at the time...especially halo 1, which was a system seller. Halo 5 has great mp, but like all sp campaigns...theres little incentive to play them again.
Halo CE. The art style alone makes this one much superior to all previous Halo games. Its also a good thing there's not Brutes, such a shit enemy design
Halo CE.
Halo 2 was great but too short.
Halo 3 was decent but RROD killed it for me.
Reach I never got to finish because of the second RROD.
ODST bored me.
Probably H2 even though legendary was pretty much broken, CE is up there as well. The 343 games have all had trash campaigns so hopefully they right the ship with Infinite.
have not played any of 343 games. but i can say bungie ruined Halo long before 343. Halo was ruined once Halo 2 was released. Halo 2 till onwards use fully regen health.
ODST because I'm a simp for atmospheric games.
I just wish they would have increased the power-differential between the human ODST soldiers and the Covenant to emphasize the power of the SPARTANs even more.
The first wins easily. The campaign was balanced except for the Library. Plus they didn't overload the game with more sh*t enemies like brutes or the flying green bastards. Totally worthless and uninspired.
Well I finished Halo (only just) and played about 2hrs of the 2 when I said **** it i'm done, and haven't played another Halo game since.
So my vote goes for none.
Halo CE = Halo 3 > Halo 2 > Halo Reach > Halo 4 > Halo 5.
Halo: Infinite, will be the one Ring to rule them all. :P
Never played ODST but considering some comments here I might play it next.
CE is great even with the Library being way too long. Reach was an excellent surprise. 2 and 3 are good. 4 and 5 are fine, there's way too much hate around those games.

Halo 4 will hit PC this year.
Do you believe i will end up liking it or hating it?

Grab Halo MCC collection on PC. So Far Reach, Halo 1 and 2 Anniversary out.
Combat Evolved is the only one i've played to completion (having been a PC gamer). I loved it back in the day. really cool atmosphere.
Didn't finish 2 when I played it on Vista but i've just started replaying it via the MCC.
Played a few missions of Reach when it came out on PC a little while ago and it did nothing for me.

no idea why people like Reach, it has shitty voice acting, doesnot know whats going on, terrible missions with having squad instead of you are sole member. the main character is non existance and dont even remember his name at all.

I think it was designed as a co-op game?
Truly enjoying Halo 2 anniversary on PC right now.
Halo: CE just didn't really age well. Repeat of environments, they all look boring and uninspired. The gunplay and enemy AI hold up really well, everything else (besides the soundtrack) is whack.
but Halo 2 is inferior Halo 1.

Nope. Bungie are just bad at level design. The opening of that game, should have been structured backwards if anything for instance.

thats why im giving 343 chance for infinite since it went semi open world. and wont have bungie repetetiveness levels. so could be best Halo game.

I agree about 4, I thought it had an awesome campaign. And 5's wasn't bad, it was just so meh compared to the others. You can tell they put most of their focus into the MP, at the expense of the SP.
ODST because I'm a simp for atmospheric games.

Yes, totally. ODSTs ripping off gun turrets is just wrong. And I would have preferred only being able to man a single Scorpion station (driver OR gunner OR machine gunner).
Still fantastic though. Gotta love that silenced SMG.
4 and 5 are fine, there's way too much hate around those games.
"Fine" ain't enough for Halo. 4 is a solid game (though still disappointing after Reach), but 5 sucks.
If you die in single player, you have to sit and wait for the AI to try revive you. What the actual **** were they thinking with that one?
@hrt_rulz01: 4 is definitely a better game. But 5 isn't bad, it just had a terrible marketing campaign that oversold it and gave wrong expectations. But terrible marketing is like a MS standard at this point.
Best single player Halo...none, at least of the two I played. Halo and Halo 2 both suffered from horrible level design and lame/weak story telling. Plus the enemies are far to cartoony looking to be taken seriously. I love the lore behind the series, but that's about it.
I think Halo 3 is probably the best. I like the gameplay, story, and atmosphere of Halo 1 better; however you can tell they ran out of time with Library and Two Betrayals. If I remember (it's been a while), Halo 3 was good all the way through.
EDIT:
Aaaaand as soon as I hit the post button, I remember that crappy flood level towards the end of Halo 3. Hmmmm. I guess Reach had nothing offensive but the first half of the game is just boring. The second half of Reach's campaign is much better and more interesting (especially the two city missions).
