Whats youre biggest mistake in game purchase

For me, the biggest mistake of buying a game was way back in the day, where i went out to buy a sega genesis game, and it came down to 2 choices. Sonic the HedgeHog 2, or Greendog: the beached surfer dude.

i bought greendog... as soon as i got home and put in the game i realized i had made the biggest mistake maybe of any gamer ever

I had just got paid and almost with my entire check on Resident Evil Dead Aim and a madcatz blaster. I hated that game so much, but I had to spend over $100 to figure that out.

yeah i bought that one too. Im not sure if its that bad, but i feel asleep 30 minutes in and just havent bothered with it since then

Meh I normally track the games I want and read up alot about them before I buy em so I'm never disappointed, went blindly into H3 and I stopped playing it after I beat the single player.. over 3 days. Needless to say I didn't think it was worth 500dollars... err that's $85us

Wow, I never thought I would hear someone say that. The original MGS on psx totally blew me away. The purchase that I regretted the most would have to be Aladdin for the Genesis.

Assasine Creed. man I hated this game, not because it was bad, but because it had alot of potentials. but was clearly rushed.

and I wasnt hyped about it, infact, i only heard about it 1 month before the release. also the frequent historical misinformation was annoying to me.

i bought it instead of Warhawk and the orange box

I have to agree with Chute on this one, girlfriend just broke out her old Genesis last weekend and we played Aladdin for a couple hours.

It was a gift, and i didnt want to be mean to the person. I never played the demo but i heard people in the forums sayin how bad it was. So i played it once for 15 min and now im never gonna play again. I give it a 1/10.

I'm going to say my worst purchase was wario ware for the wii. I beat it that day and was like wtf?

I am dead serious, just couldn't get in to it. I played the SNES Aladdin prior to purchasing the genesis game and thought that it was much better.

I'm going to have to say BioShock.

I kind of have to agree with this in a way, really not with the entire 50$ I spent on it because the game doesn't really allowed itself for much replay after the first play through. Unless of course you need to see the other ending which isn't much different then eachother sense the story doesn't pull you one way or the other as you play the game. I liked the game a lot, just not 50$ liked.

I'm going to have to say BioShock.

So many mistakes, they all compete for poll position. But these in particular take my cake(s).

PC - UTIII. God himself hates that game. He will punish Epic for their epic failure, pun intended.

Wii - the console itself. Amazingly underwhelming.

Handhelds - all that I have ever purchased. Handhelds have got to be the biggest waste of time, ever.

I'm also in agreement. That was a pretty intense little game there. The SNES one was also fun, but totally different.
