[QUOTE="-GhostMLD-"] This applies to any game that gets a review score that falls below what you expect.
"______ got 4.5 (for SW stickie purposes, this is Lair im talking about), that site is bias against the *insert console*".
Its not bias if there were legitimate reasons that deserved what it got. You expect reviewers to be "nice" just because a certain unamed console is lacking good exclusives?
Besdies, if you like it, play it. You shouldnt feel insecure or imasculated because your buying a flopped game. If you need a reviewer to justify your purchase that bad, then something is wrong. I bought Mass Effect even though it flopped and I have 0 regrets.

Reviews are always biased. Unwarranted bias, however, is evident when claims are made that are plainly false. I don't know if this applies to Haze or whatnot, but it does apply to games like Boom Blox, which was maligned by GameSpot for, just as an example, poor story and characters. :?
All gamers need to stop this hyper sensitivity to reviews and previews.
The vast majority of wanna be game critics on these forums have no idea how to separate what they like from critical merit. It is obnoxious to see people blog about a game two days before it comes out and then a week later read their garbage that states the same thing they said before they even played the game.
I don't know if its just noisy teens and early 20 somethings that seem to be clueless as to the meaning of bias, but regardless its stupid. But its not even a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Its the pot calling the kitchen sink black, witch its not.
Not to mention griping over half points much less .1 type of review scores.
Gamespot, and every other game site that uses numerical scores, need to stop.
But this tin foil hat crap is the worst thing in gaming today. Far, far worse then even fanboy crap. But often the two go hand in hand.
