When did the PS3 take over?

did this shift come because everyone believes that since halo 3 was released that 360 owners have nothing to look forward to? dont get me wrong this isnt a bash thread. but i know thats how most of you will take it. its a legitimate question. im on here almost every day, and the change was like night and day. what happened? what was it that caused this change. it certanly wasnt the lame 40gb, sure the system is $400, but they cut so much crap out of it, its not worth it. i want a ps3, but not a 1/2ps3. nothing major was announced recently, we all knew that ff13 and mgs4 werent coming to 360. heavenly sword and lair flopped terrible. the dual shock 3 is being sold seperate and not being packaged with the system, atleast at first. ut3 for ps3 got pushed back. all this is bad news, so for what reason is everyone saying the ps3 is taking over?

im just wondering what the hell happened. cause last time i checked ps3 was way behind.

Lemmings have been in full damage control ever since the Halo 640p shock and the final nail in its coffin...the PS3 price drop. Its just going to get darker for lemms all the way into '08. Thats just the way things are going to be.

The '640p shock' as you put it is a complete farce - cows are simply pwned on all fronts.

thats right i forgot that too. there are 2 less usb ports on the 40gb. now since i dont have a ps3 yet i dont know, but what does this do for trying to sinc up 4 controllers?

4 controllers because you send alot of time at home playing with 3 friends??? I thought the gaming world was gravitating towards the "online" experience...

it still has emulated BC, which is way better than 360's.

speaking of damage control....

anyways maybe PS3 sales will go up a little from people buying the last of the good systems available before theyre phased out to make room for the new awful ones... i might actually do it to be honest.

Yeah, it will emualte PS1 games but theres no way at all to even play PS2 games on the thing. Its awful.

And way better than the 360's? How is that, you can play just about any Xbox game on the 360 now.

i guess this is true. i saw a picture showing that there were over a million people online playing halo 3. it makes sense thats where they all are, and why theyre not on here.

Okay fanboy I'll be enjoying both systems.
