Old school PC GTA1MonsieurXThis. The PC version came out few months before the PS version, so you're lacking a poll option, or your top option is wrong. I still haven't lost hope, but if GTA V is anything like IV, I'll be selecting the last option later.
Wow I didnt know london 61 existed.
Gta 3 and SA were my personal fav and I seriously cant wait for the trailer.

Of course I do!.. and they pay me to buy their good games :P I thought their dlc stories kinda s*cked (impartial status regained!)
No, or I would post an obnoxious 4000x resolution picture of their games but I didnt.
GTA 1 when i was like 6, i just liked driving about and my cousin just said it was a game for just driving around and the police chased you so i was totally oblivious to missions, running people over and even weapons lol.

Probably everyone knows bout this but i thought i might aswell post it if you wanted a gander of the older games :D
Top down GTA was what got me introduced and interested in the series. GTA3 made me hate it because I found it to be hard. I was young and stupid. The game was unforgiving to me. GTA IV was good, but not great as people made it out to be. Episodes from Liberty City was what GTA IV should've been and more.Elann2008Blame the game :P. Some of the actual missions were pretty lame; which is why I didnt really like actually going through the main missions.
Eg. First island there was a terrible snipe the people on that tanker which was BS as most of the enemy AI would just hide from visibility, there was a clumsy chase scene with a heavy slow limo and then right after that there was a silly and forced trial and error thing with an exploding car to head off the next island -- All in succession. It only got slightly better after that.
I hated the characters and didn't like the setting, so I'll agree with him on that.[QUOTE="toast_burner"]

I'll also agree. I personally think San Andreas is the low end of the series.
The characters were funny. The setting was so big and amazing. I never understood what was to hate about the setting? You could do sooo much fun and funny stuff that if you were a fan of running off and doing your own thing this was one of the greastest games at the time for it.
