It's on a disc and you don't need to GTA IV to play it...oh boy, this is going to be a toughie.

I guess so then, but still 2009 = Year of the PS3.
until 6 months later when it is finally comes out on ps3 when then it suddenly is just dlc.[QUOTE="pyromaniac223"]There's going to be a huge war over thatnhh18

They confirmed that they are so that isn't an issue. They review DLC now don't you know? That's ifGamespot reviews it.

Everyone knows that TLAD was about 10 hours of content, Gay Tony will be the same...20 hours is a complete game but I mean...I'm confused on it. I think it should count as long as it's just the DLC and not the actual GTA IV game and since it doesn't, I think Episodes should count as it's an exclusive Expansion if you will.
They still aren't complete games though, so I don't think it should count, or if they are rated as their own game, they woulden't get AAA.It's on a disc and you don't need to GTA IV to play it...oh boy, this is going to be a toughie.

[QUOTE="mitu123"]They still aren't complete games though, so I don't think it should count, or if they are rated as their own game, they woulden't get AAA. They're expansions and they do count on the spreadsheets, even half of the PC AAAEs are expansions. The DLC part worries me, but thankfully Gamespot do review DLC, like Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta, and it's still on it's own disc. And I bet they will all be reviewed at once, like The Orange Box, didn't that have like 5 games, can't remember. It's on a disc and you don't need to GTA IV to play it...oh boy, this is going to be a toughie.

I don't understand.....what are these episodes missing that complete games have? L&D was about 10 hours of gameplay, and if on a disc so no need for GTA4 what about it and the next one makes it incomplete? They confirmed that they are so that isn't an issue. Well now I do. :P
Personally I say it should count, as one AA or AAA though.
[QUOTE="mitu123"]They still aren't complete games though, so I don't think it should count, or if they are rated as their own game, they woulden't get AAA. Each Episode is 10 hours long. Yeah. Just like people are in denial about bioshock coming to ps3, lost planet, eternal sonata, tales of vesperia, ninja gaiden 2, and every 3rd party xbox 360 game. Don't worry the chances that ff14, and agent staying ps3 exclusive is just as likely. None. Expect an announcement no later than march 2010, than we won't have to hear about gta 4 dlc being counted exclusive or not. It's not a compilation if it hasn't been released or already reviewed. ..just quit.Compilations have never counted in the past (reviewed or not).
Nike_Air
Yes it should count.
Lots of expansions are counted as AAAE, so I don't see why EFLC should be exempted.
[QUOTE="Nike_Air"]It's not a compilation if it hasn't been released or already reviewed. ..just quit. The Lost and Damned was already released. Cows sure don't mind R&C every year. "A game is a game" as I recall from cows defending something last week.Another AAA from an expansion? What a surprise.
DealRogers
Yup, AAAE.
After all this, watch it get a AA. Ha.
BioShockOwnz
It's possible. They could mark it down for not being a huge improvement of GTAIV, but BoGT looks like an epic win so I think it'll get AAA.

Thanks for down talking. Microsoft paid for the production of ninja gaiden 2, they paid for the production of eternal sonata. However, you need to know one thing, that those games still came to ps3. Those are contracts. No, this is a retail package with around 30 hours of gameplay, it's own standalone online mode, and it does not include the original GTA game so it's not just a glorified port...Even if GS reviews it, it will simply count towards the XBL which is not included in overrall exclusives...this gen at least.

Gamespot rates the Fallout 3 DLC, they'll rate this too. And it should count. Now that it's on disk, I don't even consider it DLC anymore. It's now considered an EXPANSION PACK. You know, those things from last gen? Of course you can't remeber! Stupid DLC movement!! :x

Funny, because ninja gaiden 2 was published by microsoft.[QUOTE="Nike_Air"]That is exactly why The Orange Box wouldn't count ..... it's a compilation.(reviewed or not). It's just a compilation of games. - some old , some new.You don't count redundant content twice. But as it is..... The Lost and Damned and the Ballad of G.Tonyare their own entities as stand alone episodes of GTA IV.[QUOTE="SpinoRaptor24"]

Theres no way to know what the guidelines of the contract were. For all we know the contract was limited to a set period of time where all GTA DLC is exclusive only during that time and could thus be released on the PS3 after that.
If this is the case cows wanna go down, then neither NG sigma games will count, GT5P won't count, none of their JRPG ports will count etc etc. Since the ports have already been reviewed, then the new releases on ps3 cease to exist by SW logic. Demos do not exist as well. I'm sure I can find more instances if I wanted to try harder.DeadMagazines
None of them have ever count as exclusives. :|

No but they count as lost exclusive for 360. If ports of games can make exclusivity divert to multiplats, why can't standalone expansions count in the opposite manner? So obviously ports DO count, or the 360 spreadsheet would have more exclusives highlighted. Ports and expansions are comparable, so if ports can count, expansions can count.
