Nvidia 3D Vision (Best 3D out there imo)

Metro 2033 maxed out on PC of course. At first I was like cool, then I was liek OMFG REAL LIFE GOT NUTHIN' ON DIS

Killzone 2 during my first playthrough...now it looks like crap when I go back and play.

MGS4...same as above.

Crysis and TEH FOILAGE. Seeing it run maxed out (Except shadows/shaders) at 1280x1080 (I think) with my mediocre P4 @ 3.2GHz, 2gb of ram, and a 7900 GS. Then having to suffer everthing at low and suffer with 1-10 FPS during the last snow levels/boss fight.

The scale of battle in the Total War series (before that, I thought it would be impossible to cram 10,000 units on the screen at the same time). Crysis technical achievement of being pretty purdy. L4D, for making the zombie shooting genre better. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for making a believable world of survival of the fittest.

Amazed? Uncharted 2. I ****ing fought people in a collapsing building, fought people while the ground below me was moving in multiple parts. The transition from gameplay to cutscene to gameplay was was done the best I've ever seen in video game and I didn't want to stop playing the campaign. Also, the animations were absolutely crazy good at the time of its release. There were tons and tons of smoothed layered animations and almost everything Drake did was imperfect in his movements, unlike most games today.

When I upgraded to HDTV and popped back Uncharted 2 and Final Fantasy 13. Damn, they looked so damn pretty, Uncharted 2 is just perfect overall, and FF13 went from being the best eye candy in SD to being the best eyecandy in HD. Seriously, it has the best looking cinematics in a game ever.

Rome: Total War tops my list. Back when they announced the game, I was 12 years old. I just couldn't believe the fact that they could render thousands of soldiers in real time! Blew my mind away back then.

The_Capitalist
This. During that, i was playing Age of mythology and warcraft 3, which dont have overly large battles, but still great. I heard this and it just blew my mind.

When I replayed Uncharted 2 about a week ago. It's still as mind-blowing as ever.

Also I was recently playing GOW2 on the GOW Collection and found myself amazed at what Sony Santa Monica accomplished with PS2 hardware.

I think my DroidX is pretty amazing. I never realized that smart phones actually make life this convienient. its literally a pocket pc.

TheEroica
Absolutely love that phone, but as far as gaming is concerned. I would have to go with the first time that i saw uncharted 2 on my PS3
