Portal 2 looked nice... but not top of the line, still dated. Newer than Half life 2's look tho. Anyways, Black Mesa will be fun to watch when it comes out, but the game itself is old and i think its just a small group of guys working on it. Gonna be a while.

Black Mesa is essentially a modder's HD remake of Half-Life 1 on the Source engine, as in they've completely remade the entire game, like Halo Anniversary is doing, rather than just porting it to a new engine. It looks pretty good, trust me.

It's a handful of guys (with lives) who are pouring their time, and money into something they will never get money from. And you're upset they're not releasing their modification sooner?
I do admire the makers of Black Mesa, but it's been a while. People(like me ans some of you) are starting to loose faith that it will ever come out. D: I really want it to come out, and so do many, I just hope it's not another duke nukem disaster where they didn't do anything until the last minute and completely messed up the game. That's a really small possibility, then again so is the ressenence cascade.

2009:P Im guessing its going under a graphical overhaul since the engine has not only been updated but the original vision is pretty dated now. At least they have the maps remade.

Would be nice if they at least give a new update through. There hasn't been one since a couple years ago I think.
