I am sick, and I am tired of so many sequels and other hyped games end up creating big gripes and stuff.

Halo 3- lack of wow factor, bad graphics, same old gameplay

Super Mario Galaxy- Super easy, boring hub world, short

Zelda: Twilight Princess- in no way did it innovative, or meet up to expectations

Mass Effect- Major bugs, just look at the GS review

BioShock- reptitive gameplay and dumb ending

Need I go on?

Super Mario 64, Resident Evil 4, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy VII, are some of the only games that I haven't been dissapointed in.

why can't developers have a checklist or something. I know it's about making money but you'll make more in the long run if you create perfect games.

I think your being WAY too critical when it comes to games - we've gotten a lot more picky in today's gaming market than we were years ago. But I do have to agree that RE4 was the best game to come out in a VERY VERY long time.

I don't really think any thing in the world is going to perfect which includes games.

All your complaints about Galaxy also apply to Super Mario 64. And here's one game that doesn't disappoint.

There won't ever be a game that doesn't have any disappointments, as there is bound to be someone out there that doesn't like it.

FFVIII, Fire Emblem 7, and Golden Sun are the only 3 games I can think of that really didn't disappoint. Games like Halo 3, Bioshock, and that horrible "Resident Evil" 4 were my biggest disappointments.

Meh, I like the newer Fire Emblems. Marth doesn't appeal to me, although very few of the main characters in the series seem to (not including Hector, epitome of awesomeness for a main character).

Yeah games would be a lot less dissapointing if we all didn't read tons of stuff about them before hand. But even still so many new games fail to surpass games of 10 years ago in many areas.... so it's hard not to be dissapointed if you recognize the flaws and played the old games.

WTF? You know what I'm sick and tired of? People hailing Super Mario 64, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and ESPECIALLY Final Fantasy VII as the best things since sliced bread! There are far more superior games, and though those titles may have offered the threshold that ushered in their series' respective 3D establishment, they are by no means perfect. Resident Evil 4 was okay, but it changed the RE formula far too much. The Third Person camera view can stay, but the zombies and horror need to come back.

Hehe, see; I can play the game too! :D

Still a good game. The plot is sort of a reinterpretation of the Star Wars movies, with Sigurd being Anakin (without the evil), the noble knight who becomes a victim of fate, and Celice being Luke Skywalker. It's a pretty good game, and one of my favorites in the series. Actually, it is, followed by Path of Radiance and Thracia 776.

Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time were the best things since sliced bread. The Red Star in Super Mario Galaxy took their place :P. I can't speak on behalf of Final Fantasy VII, considering I've never played it. Want to, but I've got a bit more to go.

While Ocarina of Time is a great game it is way too overated (ie LttP remake) BUT don't even go there in regards to FFVII.

Believe me, I WENT there! Whatchya gonna do about it?! J/K, but seriously, I never caught on with the FFVII bandwagon.. I mean, yeah, it's a great game, but undeserving of the numerous spin-offs and dedications to it. Give the other FFs some love for once!

Well, no game is perfect but that doesn't mean that you ain't gonna love them.

I wasn't disappointed by GTA:SA and that came after the outstanding GTAIII and GTA:VC. I mean, sure, I didn't like certain aspects of the game but they were completely overshadowed by the great aspects of the game.

Shouldn't focus on the negatives.

I agree with the spinoffs, (they are rather pointless ) especially when all the fanbase wants is a remake with updated graphics and some better translation. That being said I'd like to see something done with the FFVI universe. THough it'll never happen. oh and for Pete's sake. Just give us a CT sequel.
