Yes I did. I didn't want my opinions to come off as facts. Like some other users on this site like to do. I was trying to get other peoples opinions. Silent_Ninja87
That's fair. The only problem was that your title kinda conveys the point that it is a fact.
Still, I find the exclusive library to be quite excellent on the 360, but that's just me.
I think my 360 library is impressive.
and of course according to my Achievements I have been playing Mass Effect, I'm only burrowing it and is not mine (I'm burrowing it in place of my Bioshock 2.)
Although I know I haven't played all the exclusives the 360 has had, I can agree that is has a great library. If people don't agree, thats their opinion. But if people are gonna bash and can't say they've played any of the games, then its hard for most to take them seriously.
Thats my opinion :P
[QUOTE="lundy86_4"][QUOTE="kuraimen"]I agree. The 360 is basically a shooter console which for me it translates into a boring console.kuraimen
I guess it is the shooter console if you disregard a huge portion of the 360's library.
The multiplats? This topic was oriented around the library. TC even gave comment on both portions. On top of that, plenty of the 360 exclusives aren't typically "shooters".

Top rated games are mostly shooters though. Top rated games sell me a console. For variety i look elsewhere.[QUOTE="lundy86_4"][QUOTE="kuraimen"] The multiplats?kuraimen

Exclusive wise - the 360 has been disappointing.
Overall library? Not a chance in hell. The fact that it gets a large number of PC/360 and PS3/360 titles make it a pretty strong contender if you lack the funds to invest in a PC/PS3 combo.
Personally, I still enjoy gaming on my 360 more than my PC right now. All my friends are still part of the Xbox crowd.

That more or less sums it up. The 360 is more an all rounder for people who only want one gaming platform. Of course if your a gaming enthusiast it still has more than enough exclusives to warrant the purchase price but it's not the strongest of the 3 when it comes to exclusives - PC, PS3, Xbox 360.
As of lately, it seems MS is going to have a very strong holiday this year with:
Gears of War 3
Forza Motorsport 4
Zombie free-roam game (later to be an MMO)
Halo CE revamp
Crytek's project
E3 couldn't get any closer, I need some details! I don't have much faith in Kinect stuff however lol.
edit: ALL of these are published by MGS, don't expect multiplat for any.
I have played a total of eight games on my PS3. Infamous, Resistance 1/2, MGSIV, KZ2, UC 1/2 and Demon's Soul's. Owned it since summer 06. I will only be purchasing UC3, Infamous 2 in the future unless there is some unannounced exclusive that interests me. A library is very subjective and not every game appeals to everyone.
With a PC like that, I'm not surprised. Dear god...I have played a total of eight games on my PS3. Infamous, Resistance 1/2, MGSIV, KZ2, UC 1/2 and Demon's Soul's. Owned it since summer 06. edit: PS3 came out in Nov. 06 btw ;)

sorry meant summer 07 then.
Well, combining both its multiplats and exclusives has satisfied me enough to the point where it's currently my most played console. That's good enough for me ;)
The 360 is a shooter fan's console, really. 8 out of the top 10 best-selling 360 games are shooters, and that's only if you don't count GTA IV (lots of shooting gameplay) and Kinect Adventures (a pack-in, so it should maybe not be on the top 10 list; Halo 3 ODST is at number 11). Which is awesome for fans of shooters, but I agree that it "isn't all that impressive" for people who don't love them, like me.
There are of course other games like Forza and a bunch of sports games, but there aren't really any revolutionary titles on the 360 compared to even the Wii. A lot of well-executed shooters are what I see the most. *shrug*
OP missed two free-roam games that I had a lot of fun with - Saints Row 1 and Crackdown. I see people disgussint the 360 being "a shooter console". So whats wrong with that a large portion of gamers adore shooters.
Multyplats are generally better on the 360 IMO so that must count for something.
Also MS has been known to score some pretty sweet deals for DLC in the past
I'm just gonna post this...

Xbox 360
471 total games scoring A and Above xbox live and retail.
With 73 exclusives A and Above.
Ps3
344 total games scoring A and Above psn and retail.
With 66 exclusives A and Above.
I have both consoles and love both. Neither is perfect. But I hear people say that the 360 has this massive line up if games over the years. Honestly halo, gears are the only 360 exclusives that I care about. The rest of the games I like for 360 are multiplats either on PC or ps3 or both. Like Mass Effect and left 4 dead for example. I can honestly say I dont give a crap about fable or Forza. And games like Alan wake, too human etc were just okay or just downright garbage. I was like man now that I think about it halo, gears, Forza, and fable are the only heavy hitters for 360. The rest if the line up is comprised of mutiplats. It's not as impressive as I thought. Not saying the ps3 dosent have it's share of duds. But just saying the so called massive 360 library isn't that impressive. Thoughts? Silent_Ninja87
Just because you alone dont like all the other million 360 games than Gears and Halo and you have a gaming PC, does not mean that everyone else has such a PC or does not like 99% of 360 games
I can honestly say that i dont care if you dont give a crap for Fable and Forza, they are still some of the best, plus there is much more, like Alan Wake, Kameo, Banjo, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey etc etc etc
Also the very though of the coming Codename Kingdoms, Project Draco makes me drool
When you really think about it the PS3 gaming library isn't all that impressive.
See? i can do it too
I think my 360 library is impressive.
- Left 4 Dead 2
- Super Meat Boy
- Hydrophobia
- Shadow Run
- BlazBlue Contiumm Shift
- Mass Effect 2

- Mirror's Edge

- Halo Reach
- Bioshock
- Bioshock 2 (being burrowed I want it back)
- Harm's Way
- Crazy Taxi
- Fable II
- Fable III
- Bomberman Live
- Lumines Live!

- Perfect Dark

You can't and shouldn't count # 13. 1. You don't have it. 2. Listing a number 13 is bad luck. That's why buildings don't have a 13th floor and why best game lists only go up to ten. (They are afraid of the 13th spot)
You're forgetting that the 360 library includes multiplats that are not only PS3/360, but also PC/360, so it's quite large & great for someone that doesn't own a gaming rig or PS3 (well, I think it's great even if you own both). It also has an awesome arcade lineup.
If you have a gaming PC the 360 definitely loses some luster, there is no way around that, as around 50 of it's games appear on the PC, but not the Wii or PS3. That kind of thing is not reciprocal on the PS3, whose retail console exclusives can be counted on one hand. The Wii has quite a few, but they're almost all in the point and click adventure genre. I wonder what would happen in System Wars if Killzone and the like were PS3\PC releases, would console exclusives matter then, or would Killzone cease to matter (either result being suitably stupid)? That said, in my opinion there are dozens of great retail exclusives and console exclusives. And dozens more on XBLA.
If I didn't have a gaming PC those exclusives and console exclusives, together with strong multi-plat support, would combine to make the 360 my first choice in consoles.
So-Called Exclusives*: Alan Wake (Which is not merely "OK" imo), Halo 3, Halo: ODST, Halo: Reach, Forza Motorsport 2, Forza Motorsport 3, Project Gotham Racing 3, Project Gotham Racing 4, Trials HD, Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Ace Combat 6, Tales of Vesperia (English exclusive, which I think matters), Lost Odyssey, Dead or Alive 4, Limbo, Dead Rising, Perfect Dark Zero, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Splosion Man, Viva Pinata 2, Too Human, Earth Defense Force 2017, Beautiful Katamari, Blue Dragon, Ninety-Nine Nights, Shadow Complex, Raiden IV, Geometry Wars 2, Halo Wars, Toy Soldiers, Infinite Undiscovery (which is under-rated btw), Magna Carta 2, Naruto: The Broken Bond, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Guwange, Project Sylpheed, Saint's Row & more.
So-Called Console Exclusives* (i.e., not on PS3 or Wii): Metro 2033, Splinter Cell Conviction, Fable III, Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect, Command & Conquer 3, Ninja Blade, Condemned, F.E.A.R., Call of Duty 2, Darwinia+, Super Meat Boy, Geometry Wars, LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth II, Zeno Clash, Serious Sam HD, The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom,, Defense Grid, Battlestations Midway, Battlestations Pacific, Condemned, Divinity 2, Prey, Quake IV, Supreme Commander 2, Tropico 3, and more.
Even if you do own a gaming PC that gets real use, the 360 is still a relatively strong console historically speaking, although maybe not the best choice this generation depending on preference.
* = I say so-called because exclusives are a myth to begin with, the code on the PS3 and 360 versions of a game are not identical, therefore the software is not identical, which may not matter most of the time, but I suspect occasionally matters to most of us who we have a choice
